About this item

  • Our strongest formula: This heavy duty glue is 2x stronger than Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive Ultimate
  • All purpose glue: A waterproof glue formulated for virtually all projects and repairs; this Gorilla glue gives indoor or outdoor projects a Gorilla Tough bond, even under water
  • Gap filling: Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive also works as a gap filling adhesive caulk for in-home projects
  • Crystal clear: Clear Gorilla glue leaves a discreet finish to keep the focus on your project, not the glue
  • Paintable: Because this adhesive glue works on so many surfaces, it's paintable for any finish that you prefer

Our STRONGEST construction adhesive, Max Strength Clear combines the strength and versatility you have come to expect from Gorilla with a crystal clear, easy to use, non-foaming formula. All Surface, All Purpose.
Bonds: Glass, Mirrors, Ceramic, Stone, Landscaping, Decks, Subfloor, Drywall, Trim, Paneling, Foam board, Laminate, Tile, Wet Surfaces, Fiberglass, Tub & Shower, Marble, Granite, Wood, Flooring.

TO OPEN:
1.Unscrew and remove nozzle from top of cartridge.
2.Set nozzle aside. Cut hard plastic tip of cartridge above the threads.
3.Replace nozzle.

TO USE:
All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. Best if used above 40°F.
Cut nozzle at 45° angle to desired bead size.
-Insert into cartridge gun.
-Apply adhesive to one surface in a zig-zag pattern or inside perimeter of the object. Be careful of squeeze-out. When working on rough, uneven surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill gaps.

NOTE: Heavy items may require temporary support. Use in conjunction with mechanical fasteners when hanging large mirrors.

Excelente producto.

I've no choice whee I live but to order this super hard glue from Amazon as our local hardware does not stock it, for unknown reasons. Once applied, given setting time of 15 " - 20", this clear cement is the best adhesive available. The other Gorilla cement leaves a thick, ugly residue, yet the clear one does not. Using it for sculpture[ture a[[ications, and I'll stay with it because it's just a great gel/cement for my needs. Hope others who buy will soon feel the same. Great product.

I used this stuff to adhere multiple sets of tires together, and then I also used it to adhere the plywood tops to all but one of these tire towers I made for my dogs. The stuff dries nice and quickly, and it holds very, very well. It's very sticky, be careful when applying it. It's only been about 1 season, so we'll see how long it holds, but so far, so good. This stuff works real well, I just wish it was a bit more affordable.

This is a great product. I have used a different version before and I decided to try this one. I used it to build a large plexiglass aquarium (BTW it is very hard to find aquarium safe silicone so thats another great thing about it). it held 40lb sheets of plexiglass together fine. this would have been 5 stars but the one thing I didnt like was how runny it is compared to most silicone. Normally slicone will hold its form once out of the tube but this would slowly move about a 1/4 inch. other than its great.

I've used this glue to adhere vinyl to steel in an underwater environment, vinyl to vinyl for a convertible top requiring a flexible bond, and numerous other situations. It has worked perfectly for the first situation, and has had minor issues with the "convertible top" repair, but has [largely] worked great. Adhering vinyl to sanded, clean, dry steel for a moisture barrier is a perfect use-case for this glue (used on evaporative coolers). UV radiation and heat seems to be its biggest enemy. For the convertible top I used this to glue a vinyl patch to the vinyl top and, while it worked well for a while, ended up starting to fail after about a year. The top didn't leak, nor did the patch separate, but much of the visible glue began to yellow, crack, and even flake off. I assume this had to do with the exposure to UV and the elements. While it did still seal, I'm not sure for how long the glue would have remained flexible enough to seal. The cracking/flaking is due to the glue becoming more stiff over time or with exposure, and would have eventually caused it to fail. Still, only one glue (HH-66) out of about 8 performed better than this one in terms of flexibility and grip, however, this variation of Gorilla Glue came close enough in performance while at a fraction of the price, leading me to repair my car with it not once, but twice, and not regret doing so.Grip = phenomenalFlexibility = Great, until agedClarity = OK, until agedDurability = On a convertible top? It's OK. Elsewhere? Fantastic. This stuff is worth a few extra $ if you need clear, flexible, AND strong.

The seller should write that we need a gun to use this. I bought only the cartridge thinking I can squeeze it out. I was so wrong. Now I need to buy ANOTHER tool to use this. Expensive as it is, the fact that I need another appliance to use it is very disappointing! You're selling this product in India, where caulking guns aren't used frequently, at least I haven't seen it. Please mention this with the product description! I have no idea what to do with this huge cartridge, I've already opened the cartridge.

After 40 years in design and construction I thought I’ve used it all, LiquidNails, the PL products, GE 100% silicone. This time, after thinset failed over winter, I turned to Gorilla to see if they could offer a waterproof adhesive that will glue 6x6 slate tiles back into place. This stuff is it.It flows thick and clear out of the tube and hardens to an incredibly tough finish. I was pleased to see it bonded as well to the milled natural slate back as it did to the smooth gunite surface of the pool. The comments said it was runny and tended to sag, and it’s true the 6x6 slate installed vertically wouldn’t register and then stay into place. It wanted to slowly slide down the pool wall. I used ordinary duct tape for overnight support and in the morning peeled it off of a very well adhered stone tile. The waterline is about halfway up the tile so we’ll see how the bond endures under chlorinated water. But by everything I’ve seen so far, you can tie your horse up to this stuff. Expensive and in dicey applications such as this, worth every penny. Much recommended.

Bloody brilliant. Used outside to attach wooden planks to top of breeze block wall with the planks overhanging the wall by approx 50%. Totally rock solid after 24 hours. In fact I used a knife blade inserted between the wall and the wood just to raise the edge a little to make it perfectly level and got a little bit of the product stuck on the blade. I am still having trouble now removing the blade from the job after 40 minutes of trying. It is so strong I may need to grind the handle off and leave the blade buried in the job.
