Can't find these in retail store. A very useful product.

Saved one of my caulking tubes already! I wasn’t too sure if these were going to come in handy or not, but now I’ve seen that they do. Caulking tubes can get expensive so anything that can give them a new life is good. This kit saved me a trip to the local hardware store so it’s a win.

I love these rubber caps. They save you money by keeping your caulking, soft and usable. They really were. I would recommend these to anyone who is a contractor or or homeowners that purchase caulking and not use it all for a while.

These are a game changer. I don't waste any more tubes of caulk. So simple to use and much less frustrating than trying to clean the old tip. Having a good seal to preserve the used tube makes the open caulk dry more slowly, but when it eventually does, it's so easy to cut off the whole end and begin all over.

Learned about this "concept" online from my Univ. Of UTube DIY Channels. I love them so far. I have been able to use all of my caulk tube contents after only partial initial use of the tube. The red "condom" covers have been working great at keeping my caulk fresh for long periods of time between uses. I have only tried using the replacement stem ends twice on very old caulk tubes (hoping to salvage some of the contents. While both efforts failed (entire tube contents were solid), I was able to see just how easy the process would be. Had I had any usable material in-tube, it would have dispensed great! A game changer for some of my "long-time-inbetween-use" projects.

I had my doubts, but thought it was worth a try. Put one on and went back a week later to use caulk and it was fresh. Now, I put them on all my caulks. Just get 'em, you won't be sorry.

Saves throwing out half used caulking tubes, also you can carefully clean the tube saver and reuse.
Good value for the money.

These have been the best solution to extend the life of caulk tubes and now allows me to stop throwing out tubes that have plenty of product left. After trying a few tip cover solutions, these "renew" tubes to a like new experience. A quick task to cut away the old tube and and slide these in place. Rather than throwing away $8-10 tubes of caulk, I can reuse them for 1 or 2 more jobs and save lots of money. Bravo!

TubeANew can get more out of a dried tube BUT... Test the adhesive/ caulk before use. Adhesives typically have a 2 year shelf life in a sealed container, less once its opened. In the worst case an old adhesive can still seem fine and flow but it wont cure. Old clear silicone may or may not cure, even after 48 hours it can still be tacky. Just be cognizant before using any old tube, only to realize it wont cure and needs to be removed and re done.

I had a 1/2 tube of expensive silicone caulking turn completely solid. It did seem to work on a cheaper acrylic caulking. took the rubber cover off the acrylic and stuck a long nail down into the opening and sure enough the nail came out sticky and I was able to use the acrylic caulking. The silicone caulking did not work. I though, ok I can drive a nail into the tube and at least use some of the caulking, but no the whole 1/2 of the tube was solid. I cut the bottom half off of the tube and found the whole tube had solidified.
