I know I'm not alone in getting incensed when I can't find the end of the super-thin packing tape on the spool. You spin it and spin it and throw light on it a different angles searching in vane for the dang end of the tape. Then, when you find it and try to peel it up, it splits and you spend more time trying to get a whole piece. When you finally get the solid piece, it doesn't stick on the boxes well or breaks easily. I got so sick of fighting the bulk-purchased bargain brand of tape that I actually threw it all out and ordered this because I was familiar with Gorilla glue and liked it, and thought maybe this was worth a try.Hands down, this is the best packing tape you will ever buy. First, it's thick enough that you can always find the end. Second, the end WILL pull up evenly from the rest of the roll. It also does stick to your boxes. Yes, it costs more, but you will use less of this because you won't have to use more to secure your box in more places. Frankly, my time and desire for less frustrations in my life make this worth the price. Now I buy this tape in bulk!

This stuff is great. I find it much easier to use than other packing tapes. I've already re-ordered another one.When you lose the end of the tape and have to use your nails and re-find it, it comes up in one piece, and doesn't splice and splinter. I think it's because the tape is higher quality and more substantial than others on the market.Cons:- 25 yards is not a lot. It goes much faster than expected.- 1.88" width is not wide. Just something to consider before buying this.

This stuff grips. Be careful what you put it on as it is tough to pull off. Not cheap but worth it for tough jobs.

Every year we use GORILLA for our mobile Christmas lights. We gave this tape a chance this year to save a little money since the other clear thick gorilla tape is a bit spendy and we needed a lot. The dispenser is nice but SHARP. We hit the teeth with a grinder so we wouldn't keep cutting our fingers. It worked great and all our lights are holding strong even after heavy rains and regular traffic speeds.

I tried several sturdy tapes from major tape brands before buying this one. None of them managed to stay put at the part of the dispenser intended to hold the tape until the next use. Because of this, the tape on all of them got stuck on itself, and I had to throw the tape away. This tape is great. It is expensive, but it is incredibly sturdy and this package of 6 will easily last me through my next move. I will look for other products by this company.

I bought this tape because it was the least expensive at the time and I just needed some usable that would arrive quickly. I run an etsy shop and I had packages to ship out but couldn't get to a store. This ended up being better than any other tape I've used nd that says a lot. I'd say every roll I've used for packing or for my packages has been about the same no matter what brand or where I purchase, but this is far beyond anything I've had in the past. It's so sturdy and much thicker. Probably at least 3 times as thick as what I'm used to using. It sticks so well that I have no worries that it will come undone in the shipping process. Everytime I use it I think "I xant believe how thick this tape is." And easy to use. It flows right off the roll and cuts just as easy as the thinner stuff. And it was less expensive than the rest. I will continue to buy this brand from now on. A++++ purchase.
