I deal with these at work (I install tires) and they tend to last longer than OEM style mcguard wheel locks. They all have different patterns so no one can just use a generic key to take them off and they're priced considerably lower even though they are of higher quality (impact rated steel key). I like how these include a sticker with the key code so if you lose the key you can just order a new one with serial number

I was in the market for a second set of wheel locks. I have the OEM wheel locks and I wanted another brand of wheel locks for extra safety. I went to gorilla's website to confirm that these are compatible with my 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport. They were very easy to install. I used the tire iron that's with my spare tire to install the new locks. One thing you got to look out for on Amazon specifically is there using confirm it fits with the car feature. It said this was compatible with my 2025 Hyundai Elantra but the manufacturer said it did.

Got a new wheel and tire set up for my Jeep which came with gorilla lug nuts so I decided to get the mathing security lugs. Very happy with them. They blend in well and look like regular nuts. Very good quality, no issues with the finish on them.

This wheel lock matches well with my regular wheel nuts. Yes if you think that the top most nut in the photo is the wheel lock, you are right. A wheel thief will notice the difference because they are hunting for non-locked wheels. My friend bought the same set of Gorilla wheel locks a couple months ago and his release key could NOT bite down on my locks. These are theft deterrent devices; they push a thief to choose another vehicle that has no wheel locks. With the release key, the locks are easy to remove and install. Great quality and value.

Product itself is great! Sturdy and nice polished look. Only thing I hate is that the lug wrench inside the car, even though I ordered my correct lug pattern. The wrench that removes the OEM lugs DOES NOT fit the gorilla lock key extension. I had to go purchase a different lug wrench for it to be able to work. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this. But that was my case for a +15 Subaru. That's why it lost a star, other than that I like the product. So now I need to keep OEM wrench and then a wrench for the gorilla lock key extension..

Alright, Its been some time now...nearly 2 years. So, its safe to say that this review should be highly replicable. As of quality I would give these 5 stars. I've used some before that were sold in a local Walmart store and was very upset as the chrome on them in between the locking star shaped key started to chip away shortly after purchase causing rust and I've had others that where the key would grasp onto the outer edge would eventually start causing them to strip easily making them harder to tighten. These don't use that same in-dented key pattern and the wheel locks them selves are made of more durable composites. All 4 look just like the day I bought them back in June 2012. Now, for ease of use another 5 stars. Just as easy as using regular lug nuts. Finally, I glanced at some reviews before writing this and recall others saying they look like other lug nuts which is true if your considering the other lug nuts to be of the aftermarket version. I mention this since my original stock 18" rims have some bronze shine to there lug nuts. But the ones that I paid for with my 22" rims have the chrome appeal.I give them 5 stars overall and highly recommend them to those needing some. I really can't say they will never rust but so far my set has held up great to all elements except...snow. (Note: its best to use common dish detergent safe for hands on any chrome including these Acorn Wheel Locks.) Since its been around for years and those auto wash, wheel, brake/grease cleaners haven't. Those cleaners may eat into the clear coat on any chrome. This is the only set of wheels I've never used those chemical or auto wash cleaners on but they still look great including the Gorilla Locks. I know its a pain in the butt to have to dump the auto wash water out and rinse all suds as best as you can. Before, refilling a gallon of water with hand/dish soap into your bucket but after my experience with chemicals this has worked best for me. I do regular washes though usually every 2-3 weeks...so my rims never get a crap load of brake dust on them. With all this said none of this really matters for me since my lug nuts are covered by a plastic chrome hexagon key cap. But, this review wasn't for me the consumer its for those looking to buy some or replace there rusting chrome plated set. For them I hope they find this detail review helpful. If, the price is right buy them 2 years from now you won't be disappointed. Finally, for those of you who place your keys in your vehicle and just leave them there which isn't very smart. If, the thief doesn't already have a universal key set it isn't very hard to pop a window with a spark plug and reach into the center console or glove box to get your key. I only place my key in my vehicle when I'm getting a tire balance and rotate. It's really the only way to be safe and I can always call someone I trust for key if stranded with flat tire.
