I think this rick rack is fine. I use it on cards and gift bags, so it is glued in place, not sewn. It is somewhat heavy, so if it is used for clothing trim, it might be a little harder to sew. I much preferred the vintage rickrack that was cotton and woven more tightly, but this is o.k.
