I got it because voice control for my gopro doesn’t always work when riding motorcycle because of the noise. I placed it on the left handle bar for a quick on and off push with my thumb. It’s responsive and easy to pair with my go pro max and hero 12 black. Battery stays charged until my go pro battery runs out. I highly recommend it.

If you’re running multiple GoPros this is a real must have. Battery life has been consistently strong and I use this kayaking where it’s gotten beaten on by sun for hours at a time. Simple use and pairing is generally painless process that only takes 10-15 seconds from turning both the GoPro and remote on to connecting to each other. Have tested the range up to about 30 feet thus far without issue, perhaps without any interference it may go further. Relatively easy to switch between different cameras. Using on multiple GoPro 10s. Have not had any problems with using in mild rain or getting wet since I’ll wear it on my wrist paddling. Haven’t submerged it but really no reason to test that case. Worth the money, bought after market remotes that don’t connect or pair and just are complete wastes.

The remote paired easily and makes it so nice to commence video or take a photo. That way one doesn’t move the camera by pushing the shutter button on the camera itself. I could be several feet away from the camera and had full control over the basics. Really cool. Downside from what I think I read is that in order for the remote to work you must disengage the app from your phone…..well, if that is true that is just dumb. I did turn off my app because I wanted to be sure the remote worked but I have not gone back to see if both can live in harmony.

I purchased this as a replacement for an aftermarket unit that wasn't fully compatible with my GoPro. Works well, has great range and the battery lasts for a much longer time than the aftermarket copy. Very happy with it.

カメラ触らずともON/OFF出来るから便利です。一番の利点は充電の持ちがかなり良いです。Insta360も使用しており、そちらも似た様な性能のリモコンを使用してますが、充電も全くと言っていい程消耗が早く使えない代物です。それに比べるとかなりおすすめ出来るリモコンだと思います。

This remote was a little pricey so I had gotten a cheaper version; rated to 15 meters waterproof and it died after one day that it went an inch or two into the water a few times. I used this remote for a 10-day ocean kayaking trip and did not even have to charge it again. I was wearing my camera on a head strap, and it's really nice that the remote can turn the camera back on when it goes to sleep so you don't have to let it keep running or reaching up on top of your head to fiddle with it. Very easy to tell/switch modes, setup was easy, and it even shows you how much space and battery power the camera has.

Headline says it really. I needed a way to control the camera which is chin-mounted on my motorbike helmet from the handlebars. This works great for that. The only downside for that use (other than price) is that it's hard to operate with gloves on.

Si utilizas la cámara GoPro montada en el casco, en una base, un self stick o algo parecido es muy recomendable que tengas un control remoto para encenderla, apagarla y empezar a grabar. Se empareja muy sencillo y la bateria le dura bastante. Es un artefacto indispensable para tus grabaciones y te hara la vida más sencilla.
