REC Button: Start video recording with a single press.
Shutter Release Button: Shoots a still image with the camera. Set the camera to B shutter exposure(BULB), you can perform long exposure by pressing this button.
Zoom/Focus Button: Toggle between zoom and focus modes using the switch.
AF-ON and C1 Buttons: Mirror the functions of the corresponding camera buttons.
LED Indicator: Displays shutter, recording, and AF status.
"LOCK" Button: There is a "LOCK" button on the left side of the remote control to prevent accidental operations and save battery power. When you want to turn off the remote, just move the "LOCK" button. Also make sure it is not in the locked position before use.
Recording a Video
Separate "shutter-release button" and "REC (record) button" to shoot a still image or to record a video conveniently and fast.
Focus and Zoom Control / activating the camera's C1 or AF-ON
Focus Control and Zoom Control, you just need to slide the switch on the side of the remote can achieve it.
Through the shutter "AF-ON" AND "C1" button can activating the camera's C1 or AF-ON function.
Shooting Still Image
Half press to auto-focus, fully press to take photo.
It allows you to remote your camera wirelessly in an operating distance of approx. 10m /32.8ft in any direction.
How to connect the remote shutter and camera to pairing?
1.For camera: Put the camera into pairing mode via the menu.
2. For remote shutter: Hold the shutter button and the [+] button for 7 sec. If the indicator flashes rapidly, pls try paired it again.
This can work in bulb mode for long exposures:
Set the camera mode dial to M (manual mode) - set the shutter to bulb - Press and release the shutter button on the remote to start the exposure - Pressing the shutter button again fires the shutter to end the exposure.
Tips：
If pairing fails, the remote's indicator light will flash quickly. If this happens, restart the process from the beginning.
Please re-pair the remote control and camera in the following situations.
* When using the remote control to operate other cameras (After connecting the remote control to another camera, you must also re-pair the remote control and the original camera when connecting to the original camera.)
* When the camera’s network settings are reset.

The first remote I ordered was non-functional with my Sony A7 IV camera and I returned it. However, based upon all the positive reviews, I ordered another one and this one is working perfectly with my camera. So I am changing my rating to reflect this.

I can't blame the maker / seller. It's not their fault it was not compatible with my camera.You know how Amazon takes the specific thing you searched for and broadens it to include things that are possibly not going to work?Well, they got me.I'm sure it's a great gadget for the models for which it is compatible. Mine simply wasn't in the list, and a glance and a Buy Now had me thinking I had a cool tool on the way.No fault of the seller or maker.

I think this clicker is money well spent! It picks up quickly and the manual included is very helpful in connecting with my Sony A7C. Make sure you read the manual and you won’t have any issue. It is quick and straight to the point. It’s very very lightweight and it functions great. I love the buttons on the remote control as they’re very important to me especially the auto focus. It fits my Sony A7C and I love it.

Good value and easy to pair and use. I bought two, one for my Sony a6700 and another for a6400. Still need to figure out if there is a way to make it work on my a6500.

I should have gotten a better remote and will. 2 batteries in the box one was dead but this thing has no on off switch and the USB port? Who knows! Nit terrible but definitely budget
