I was initially nervous that it wouldn’t work because of some reviews I read, but it has worked perfectly for me and is very easy to use. Some reviews mentioned water overflowing, but in my experience, as long as you use the right amount of pasta and liquid, along with the correct cooking time and microwave power, you shouldn’t have any issues. You may need to experiment a bit since every microwave is different, but once you figure out the right settings, you’ll get consistently great results. For example, I found that in my microwave, the cooking times are a fraction of the recommended ones.All in all, I highly recommend it!

Makes the pasta soggy? I made it exactly ro the directions, and the pasta was soggy. Even after I made it again with less time it was still soggy. Takes long enough it's easier to just use the stove.

Game changer if you're gluten free and preparing two different pastas. I still boil the big pot of water on the stove for my husband's pasta, however, for my gluten free pasta I just pop it into this microwave cooker and off we go. Couldn't be easier and pasta comes out perfect every time!I've recommended it to several friends and family members.Even if you're not making two different pastas, why not make it easier with fewer pots and colanders?

I don’t know how I lived without this pasta maker! It is so handy to make the pasta in the microwave and clean up is a breeze. Follow instructions to cook. I love it!

This is absolutely THE BEST way to cook pasta, rice, potatoes, etc.! I bought the first one, loved it so much, I gave one to each of my daughters as well as a friend. There's NO boil over with pasts and it is so easy to clean...it's remarkable. I never use my saucepan or rice cooker any more. I've also used it to boil potatoes as well, and still, there's no boil over for them, either. Truly...this is one of the very BEST items I have ever purchased on Amazon!

This product is easy to use and cooks pasta perfectly al dente when the directions are followed. It's simpler than cooking on the stove top, and that means safer--no hot burners, and after waiting the required time, the water is no longer boiling when the noodles are drained. If pasta is one of your favorite foods, this is a worthwhile purchase.

The lid closes well, the shape is simple and efficient, the removable accessory for the water level is convenient, the color is not ugly. It’s my third pasta box and so far the best.

Am I the only one? I measure as it came in the instructions but it makes a huge mess in the microwave. Had to wipe down the water three times I have used. Yes, it cooks but water just boils over. That was before I change the power settings, it’s fine now.
