Our 5 yr. old grandson asked for Tasty Tinies Bake Shop for Christmas, so he received a chocolate cake, and a vanilla cake set. Each set comes with a measuring cup, spatula, mixing bowl, baking pan, cardboard oven, two cake mixes, frosting mix, piping bag with tip, and sprinkles. The cake bakes for 20 seconds in the microwave, so the entire project is quick and easy. He and his dad whipped the first cake out with ease. The first cake he enjoyed so much so that he waited to bake the other three with his two brothers ages 8 and 11. They all enjoyed making and eating their cakes. Such a cute idea; would definitely buy again!

These are cute and easy but with how much you are paying the "cakes" are SO teeny tiny it's 1 bite. The pictures make it seem way bigger. I gave 2 stars because my kids still had fun doing it i just think price point is way off

This product was the nastiest thing we've ever made. Do not recommend at all. Wasn't even fun to do.

We bought this for our granddaughter for Christmas...she was too excited to wait until they got home..so her and her cousin had a ball making all of these little desserts at our house on Christmas day!! They seemed to be happy with the flavors and I ordered another one so she could do it again!!!

My 6 yr old has begun to get into baking and wanted an easy bake oven. I had one as a kid but I also know they are a toy that isn’t really known for its long term use. Mostly a novelty. One we don’t have storage space for. So, when I saw these little tasty tiny kits I thought it was pretty cool- the same miniature diy baking without the need for a fancy toy oven and lightbulbs.. this uses the microwave 90% of us already have. We created the 2 cakes, because of her age she needed some help with reading the instructions and measuring. Otherwise she did it herself. The cardboard oven didn’t set fire! Thank heavens! Haha. We have a smaller microwave so instead of 25 seconds we just used the 30second button. It worked perfectly. The cakes are so small they cool quickly. The frosting mixed up easily, but even with fairly careful measurements it was very runny. In fact it was pretty much like a slightly thick icing you’d put on a Bundt cake. That made the little star tip for the icing bag useless. We adapted and just smoothed it out with the spatula and added the VERY crunchy sprinkles. Texturally it was odd, a damp angel food cake reminiscent of vanilla with a wet icing and crunchy sprinkles. I smiled and said “yummy!” My daughter dead panned “mommy. We don’t lie. That’s not kind. This cake is very weird. It’s not too yummy.” Correct. Weird is what it is. The actual process of making it more than made up for the taste and texture (though, taste is subjective, some people love diet soda with a frightening passion and I cannot stand the taste of artificial sweeteners, I’d drink a gallon of milk before diet soda and I’m lactose intolerant). So maybe my yuck is your yum.. idk. But I do know my daughter fully enjoyed baking a tiny cake and proclaiming she’s a great baker! That was worth the effort and I’d do it again for the experience.

Have not tried it yet. I got it for a Christmas gift. But it’s smaller than I expected.
