Visibly these hinges look undistinguished from the Dynasty Hardware ones: same nice satin finish, same size box. The only difference I noticed initially were the screws for using the hinges with metal doors. There was an identical to Dynasty’s instruction enclosed in a box (Dynasty one is printed directly on a box) and also Allen wrench, 4 pins and a stick for tension setup.Now, about why I am giving these hinges 4 stars and not 5. Well, I have installed the hinges on my door and tried to adjust the tension with the wrench. To my surprise, the spring was not working. The insert was not returning itself to the initial position at all. I was frustrated and started thinking I got a lemon. Then I checked a second hinge in a box - and it was OK. I decided to replace the already installed hinge with the not yet used one from the box. Surprisingly, the removed hinge’s spring worked well, when tested off the door. That was confusing. As I didn’t want to deal with the return, I decided to lubricate the hinge with the WD-40. And it helped! Now I have the installation of 3 self-closing hinges, two of which are from Dynasty Hardware. All three together do a good job: the door is being closed softly but reliably. And what is especially good is that all 3 hinges are set on 3rd position (by the strength). Previously, when I had only 2 hinges installed on a door, I had to set them on 4th position and even that sometimes was not enough for the door to get self-closed reliably.I didn’t deal with the customer service so I can’t tell anything about the seller. But with all that I have experienced in mind, I am conditionally recommending these hinges.Besides, they are few bucks cheaper than Dynasty stuff, but the quality is comparable

The hinges were ordered to replace a15-20 year old pair and fit perfectly in the existing mortised spots of the old hinges (but make sure to take accurate measurements to prior to ordering).The hardware- hinge screws, allen wrench, etc. were of very good quality. The instructions for adjusting the hinges' spring tension were helpful.Replacing the old hinges was a job I was dreading but the new hinge set made the job an easy 1 hour project. I am very pleased and shipping speed & price were excellent.

Even one hinge was enough to close a solid core 8-ft door, but it was a stretch, so I installed two, leaving the other two regular hinges.

The spring of my previous door hinge went (as they do over time) and my husband wasn't able to find it at the hardware store, but they have it handy online. The price the exact same as at the hardware store for other models (with different hole patterns), and super convenient with Amazon. Was easy to install.

The door from my kitchen to my garage is a high-traffic door. Unfortunately, my kids don't always bother to make sure the door is CLOSED when they pop in or out, despite numerous (numerous) reminders to CLOSE THE DOOR. Plus, I have one cat that will wait at the door for you to open it to dart into the garage which is the last thing I need... Door closers are all so huge, ugly, and hard to mount--then I found this. Because it is a thick, steel, exterior door that is heavy, I had to get 2, but all you do it replace 2 (of the 3) of the hinges on the door, set the pressure (easy) and now it closes itself! Admittedly annoying sometimes, but at least I know my cats are safe and won't get out. Plus, you can't even tell they are there unless you look to see the silver hinge (which nobody does..). Great solution to an easy problem. I also got a few of these for my pantry door.

Live in Mesa, AZ and didnt realize when we started demo for an inground pool what the inspection was going to look like. Well, Mesa is one of the hardest to get through, but they have a better safety record, so that is something. Had to get these to put on my garage door leading the back yard. These are heavy duty and were pretty simple to install. We flew through our inspection... YEAH.

One hinge did the trick for a heavy garage to laundry room door that NEVER would close unless slammed. Now you just let go and PRESTO, no more complaints about not closing the door!

My dog learned how to open the door, but never closed it. These hinges close the door and keep the pests out and heat in. Easy install, just follow the directions.
