At first I wasn't sure but once you download the app a whole new world opens up for you. Hopefully this saves someone the time I lost. When you go inside the tuyu app and your searching for your device it will not fins that device unless with the batteries installed you push and hold the reset button I think like 5 seconds and release and it found it instantly. I tried taking the batteries out and reinstalling. Nothing worked till I hit the reset button. Now if you don't do technology this device will be useless to you. I couldn't figure out how to program even the master code without using the app. Now once your inside the app everything is open to you. It's really an impressive and beautiful lock. Very responsive. It was so responsive I thought this thing is just granting access to every fingerprint but I was wrong. It was working perfectly. So here are the ways to be granted access. First you recieve a key and the key hole is hidden under a rubber grommet towards the bottom of the lock. So at a glance it doesn't look like it has a key which I like. You can enter with a saved fingerprint or with a code that you can set as permanent or temporary which is really nice to have access to be able to make a 1 time code for a service technician. You can also connect via Bluetooth and simply click the lock inside the app to be granted access as well. Overall this thing is amazing and I owned 3 smart locks prior to receiving this one that might I add cost much much more then this device. I love the look of it. I'm using this on an interior master closet door where I keep most of my guns. It gives me peace of mind to know the children will not have access to this area even though my kids are versed in gun safety. It doesn't matter children are emotional and I couldn't forgive myself if something ever happened because of my negligence. Better to be safe then sorry. This door handle lock gives me that piece of mind. Love love love. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking. It really is great I enjoyed doing this review because of how much I enjoyed the product.Ps I forgot to mention another really cool design aspect of this lock. So if your batteries die on you...... we'll your just locked out and out of luck. Not quite with this lock you have a usb c port on the bottom hidden from sight but can be attached to a power bank to grant access long enough to swap those batteries. They couldn't have given you much more with this lock really it's great. EnjoyIf for any reason I have issues or this lock stops working I will update this review.

I'm not a fan of the installation process, it seems a bit more cumbersome than other similar locks that are much more plug and play. It's not difficult to install, it's just more steps than I think it needed to be.The handle and body do feel substantial and heavy duty for an electronic lock of this price point, it was a pleasant surprise. The finger print so far has been quick and accurate. It works well enough that we just use that and the passcode as a backup. We haven't bothered with the included key card or connecting it to an APP.

Just got my door lock with the handle am happy with my purchase! Definitely recommend. Only down side was I had to call a lock smith to install this I don’t have the patience hahahaha it’s a bit tricky to install

I like it but:The instructions aren't straightforward, and I haven't been able to find a manual to help with programming. The installation and initial programming were a bit clumsier than usually experienced with these types of locks. In the end I got it working though.The lock is decent build and it operates smoothly. Initially it would operate in an unlocked mode and we like that ability, but once programmed we can't find how to put it back in that mode.It is easy to add users, fingerprint reading, card keys and codes through the app. The app is finicky to recognize the lock at first, but thanks to another reviewer for pointing out a reset with batteries installed helps. And it did.The instructions on operating the lock without the app are useless to me. This cool smart lock has the handle built in so it looks really good. I can use my fingerprint and the rest of the family theirs, to get in. There's several codes that can be set to get in as well. This is a really easy to use smart lock.
