first order was good. Matts are reasonably priced, and I was happy they come with the adhesive bags.I am an artist and was looking for another company to purchase matts from. Second order I ordered 25 matts with adhesive bags. The bags are defective, they do not close. There is no contact info for the company other than a phone number that is not a working number.so no one to contact from this Company. THats too bad for them because they would have gotten allot of business from me.

These mats are great!! They look very professional and are easy to use. They ARE tight as others have mentioned, but I find if I run a piece of cardboard down the sides to loosen it a little before inserting my paintings they go in easier but still stay put. My only issue is that they've been out of stock and I can't buy more!!!

Only the bag has a sticky part and I am not using the bags, but prints seem to stay put. I love the mats. Use latex/rubber gloves to slide photos easily.

I searched all over the internet for slip-in mats to send as gifts to my portrait clients. Hadn't even cross my mind to look on Amazon but when I received these, I was shocked. Not only are these affordable but the quality is comparable to similar products I've bought at high end photography labs. I was proud to send these to my clients; now I'm ready to stock up! They are perfect.

I have been buying photo mats for years. These are shipped in a cushioned box which protects them from any dings during shipping. The mat cuts are clean and they securely hold the prints. The bags are a nice touch.

Yes, as others stated, it can be a pain to insert the photos into the mats. You may have to sacrifice a few prints before you get the technique down. After the print is in, it's not going anywhere! I'd rather have to take my time inserting the print than have it shift around after delivery to a client. These are great quality, and I'm on my 4th box.

These are awesome mats, thick, high quality and look great. The ONLY issue I have with these mats is that they are SO tight. Once the photo is in place, its holds firm! The problem is GETTING them into place. From opening them enough to get the photo started right to sliding it into position, very tight. I'm a very patient person, I take my time. There is no pressure to get the images matted in a hurry. It takes me a minimum of an hour to 'slip-in' 20 5x7s into 8x10 mats.I want to give them a 1 or 2 star review based on the frustration I experienced using them, but that just wouldn't be fair. They are quality and worth the effort. I just wish they would leave a FRACTION of an inch more space to slip the prints in.

Excellent product if you are just looking for something for personal use or just starting to do IPS. Obviously you would want to upgrade after you are established to high end products. I can't compare to the other versions they had(have?), but these are very easy to use and slide my images in. I would give 5 star, but they are slightly warped, it's so minor you can hardly notice and I suspect if I laid a book on them it would be gone. I would buy again!
