Mixed color means they choose the colors. There was no black mat (which I needed at least one). But the other colors are okay. If you want a grab bag of colors, this is your pick.

These were extremely affordable and I was able to use several of them for my photo entries into a local photography exhibit. Cardboard was professional grade. The colors were bright and plenty of different colors.
