I don’t know if these are professional grade but they worked great on my DIY patio concrete project. For the price, I expected these to just get me through this project but I think these will last a very long time and I’m planning more concrete project now.

Straight edge tool did not work that great for smoothing out concrete. Need beveled edge for easier smoothing.Edger did what it was supposed to do and was easy to use.

I got this set for a patio i put in. these are very nice tools. the handles are very comfortable and the tools make great edges. I highly recommend this set.

I've used a lot of different brands of concrete and plastering tools over the years and I have yet to find any that are better than Goldblatt tools. I started out with cheap mild steel finishing tools from a tool discount chain, they quickly deteriorated and were frustrating to use. I moved on to pro-grade tools and never looked back, the difference in balance and workability is well worth the small additional initial investment, especially if you want your tools to last.These concrete finishing tools continue the Goldblatt legacy. They are well made with excellent balance, making them a pleasure to use. The bottoms are precision formed heavy gauge stainless steel, so rust is not an issue. The welds are strong and polished smooth, which produces a mar free concrete surface.The grips are sturdy and large, without being too big. I much prefer these plastic composite handles over wood, which tends to splinter as it ages. The handles have a cushioned rubber feel, which is non-slip and comfortable to use.The bottom plate on the concrete groover is especially nice, it has a tapered and rounded front point, much like the bow of a boat, which provides a crisp and clean groove in the concrete.I've found Goldblatt tools to be economical, especially considering the quality, this tool set continues that trend. They also carry a "hassle free" Lifetime Warranty, which is nice to have, although, I have yet to have any Goldblatt tool fail.Bottom-Line: These are high-quality, professional grade concrete finishing tools at an affordable price. If treated properly, they should last a lifetime.
