Definitely better deal than overpriced plastic coin pingThis one you feel built quality it’s easy to use. It’s durable. Fits large coins such as Mexico onza balance. Gonna order another one Just for heck of it

This is a simple coin checking test. It is helpful for very basic testing which could be done manually with a household items, such as a magnet, clip,and little piece of wood instead of an expensive "kit" like this. That said, it does provide the functionality as described in the listing.I do like the little key chain magnet most since it's small and is handy to have. As far as testing for silver and gold or other non-ferrous metals. It does server that purpose. As you can see in the 3rd photo, the magnet itself is a fairly strong one. I might find it more useful for grabbing tiny screws, or a small watch type battery, or some other types of uses.The little wooden hammer is cute, and does work in conjunction with the "coin holder" contraption- an odd clamp. There were no instructions other than what you see in their add, but it's use is fairly basic. Although, I'm not quite sure if the circular opposite end from the clamp has any purpose? I did like the circular sizing chart which is handy for measuring the circumference. It comes in a nice fabric bag with pull strings and what appears to be two white or clear space rubber type covers for the clamp.Over all, I would generally recommend this product. I'm giving it 4-stars though because I feel it's a bit overpriced.

This is a very good instrument for a coin collector to have. It does the job and is inexpensive.
