I've been using this on a Canon R8 with a Godox AD200 pro. I have never had any issues with connectivity and it always fires my strobe. It's small and not intrusive on the camera, so there are no challenges when using the camera hand held.

Item:Godox X3 X3C Flash Trigger for Canon, Touchscreen interface & local controls, Built-in Type-C Charging Battrery TTL HSS 2.4G Wireless Speedlite Trigger kit with Storage Bag for indoor outdoor shootingPackaging:Packaging was really good. The item was packed in a professional product box. The box is designed in a way to protect the item with a cardboard frame that keeps it in place and does not allow it to move around. The box itself is also very sturdy. I don’t think there is much risk of shipping damage.Material Quality:The device is made of plastic with a metal hot shoe connector.Assembly/Build Quality:The device is well built and feels very solid. The fit is a little tight on the shoe but it could also just be my camera. The screen is clear and bright.Marketing Material:The images represent the item well and I don’t see any signs of misrepresentation of the product. The only issue I have is that when the device is powered up the default language is Chinese. Luckily the icons are easy enough to figure out which one is for changing language and I was able to switch it to English. The user manual is also in both languages so if you can’t figure out the icons you can use the manual.Functionality:This device is a solid device. The touch screen is responsive and the menus are smooth. There is also a small dial knob that you can use to scroll through the menus and you can push the dial knob to select whatever you have highlighted. The flash recycle is quick. The unit can also be programmed for several different profiles. It has a USB-c charging port and included cable. The unit comes with a soft shell carry case which is a nice addition. Lastly there is an included USB powered lamp. It has wireless capability to link with other units as well.Price:This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $89.00. This price seems to be in line with other similar products and I do not have any issue with it.Likes:I really like solid build of this unit. It feels like it will last a while.Dislikes:As long as the unit lasts I don’t really have anything about it that I dislike.Overall:I would definitely recommend this item if you are looking for a wireless flash trigger for your cannon camera. The unit is well built and has loads of functionality. It comes with a nice carry case to keep it safe and the price is not too bad either.

This is a must if you are into photography. Godox again does not disappoint and has made a great product. The trigger comes packed in a nice box and it includes a small USB lamp. The touchscreen is easy to use and has a user-friendly menu that is intuitive and clean. The screen is also very bright so, you won't have a hard time using it. You will be able to control all your settings really fast and easy.

I really like this trigger set. The small size of it without giving up the advanced functionality is what wins me over. I remember using Pocketwizards 20 years ago, and then eventually using the Paul C Buff triggers for their Bee's and Einstein sets and loving the small size. While it never dawned on me how nice it was to use small triggers again because the Flashpoint FPRRR2SPT trigger isn't really that big, I have to say the X3C is pretty damn awesome.Paired with some ETTL flashes the X3C just straight forward worked like a charm. I had no issues doing either TTL or Manual on hot shoe flashes and my Xplor units. HSS worked without an issue either. Overall experience with using the device is great. I I really like the visibility of the screen and while it eats at battery life the first thing I do after changing the language on it is change the display so it stays bright and on for 3 minutes. The only real negative I saw with the device is it starts in Chinese and you have to navigate to change it to English. Fortunately if you've used a cell phone, it's pretty easy to understand how to use this device. While not negative, there are some ergonomic stuff from other Flashpoint/Godox triggers that you have to get used to. One example is not having the test button on top but rather the side, which most flashpoint triggers tend to have. Also rather than a slide to stay on button, it's a hold down to turn on button which is a good thing because the X3C has a built it menu option for auto off. I've killed a LOT of batteries on my other triggers leaving them on.If you are a off camera light shooter and use the Godox or Flashpoint system, this really is a great trigger. The onboard battery is nice (though might me a problem for future me if it starts dying), and the whole unit is very easy to work with once you get used to it. It's a little pricey at $89, but I come from a time when it used to be $300+ to shoot off camera with Pocket wizards, so having to only spend $89 on a transmitter and all the lights have receivers built it has been a massive boon the last 6~7 years.
