Seems to work great on my Z9. I wish it was possible to tighten up the mount with a screw down feature. It’s not really tight on the cold shoe I tend to use for receivers like this. I like that it uses AA batteries on both transmitter and receiver.

While reading reviews prior to purchasing, one review claimed this did not work with a Nikon Z8. They may have gotten a faulty unit or a bad cable, but I have used this with both a Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z9 without any issues and it works as advertised. Half press the button on the remote to focus the camera and full press to trigger the shutter. Intervalometer works as advertised but the instructions were poorly written and a little hard to understand. In bulb mode, hold the shutter release for three seconds and let go and a timer is displayed on the remote showing how long the shutter has been open. Press the shutter release again to close the shutter. Great for long exposures and keeps you hands off the camera.

As for fuctionality, this absolutely works fine with a Nikon Z8 with the latest firmware (tested September 2024, firmware version 2.01).I use this as a remote trigger when shooting real estate, and normally have my flash trigger in the hotshoe, so I put an extra tripod screw with a D-ring in the threaded insert and attach a small lanyard to it. I then drape the lanyard around the trigger in the hotshoe so it's not supported by the cord.The trigger itself doesn't have any type of attachment point for which to connect a neck lanyard. None of the triggers that I've owned have had one though so I did my usual retrofit. Removed the 'sticker' on the back, scuffed the plastic up good with sandpaper and used JB Weld to attach a large size paper clip. I cut and bend the paper clip in an 'Omega' shape so there would be 90 degree bends at the bottom to give some additional strength. After that set up in 24 hours or so I just gave the gray JB Weld a covering with a black sharpie. It's a little bit of a 'bubba' fix, but works just fine. I prefer to have my remote around my neck because of the volume and speed at which I'm shooting. One other thing I did to make this unit a little better was to carefully heat, and then very slightly bend the tab that holds the batter door on the trigger. It was very loose and seemed like it would fall off very easily. It doesn't take much heat, or much of a bend to improve the functionality. Of course, the attachment of the loop to the trigger voids the warranty in case that's a concern for you. Hope you find that info helpful. Nice solid trigger and I like that both of the units take AA's instead of button cells or micro batteries like the 123 or such.

Il Kit Godox controllo remoto , è un ottimo prodotto, non proprio miniaturizzato, visto che deve alloggiare 2 batterie formato AA nel TX e 2 nel RX, nonostante questo il TX sta comodamente nella mano.Permette di controllare con una distanza di circa 100 metri in wireless la fotocamera , con 6 funzioni selezionabili.Possibilià di selezionare 32 canali per evitare le interferenze.Il display di facile lettura è retroilluminato per una semplice consultazione in caso di scarsa luminosità ambientale.L'unico contro, non è presente la possibilità di mettere un laccetto da polso sul radiocomando.Ottimo prodotto con qualità Godox, ma sicuramente migliorabile.

The nut on the Nikon 10 pin connector binds and won’t turn freely. It has a tight spot as one turns it. I can’t connect it to the camera, and if one can’t connect it to camera, the features don’t matter. If you get one, check it quickly to see if it works when you can still return it.

I had to shoot a photograph from a crazy distance. The camera was placed in the balcony at thee Conference Center in Salt Lake City (not the old Tabernacle you're thinking of, but the newer auditorium that seats 21k) I had to run to the front of the building (so I could be in the shot) and trigger the shutter. It felt like I was a quarter mile away. This nifty device did the job, and I'm very impressed.

Lieferung erfolgte schnell, wird an meiner Nikon D850 betrieben. Vorteil, der Empfänger und Sender können vollständig abgeschaltet werden. Daher kein Stromverbrauch der Batterien wenn ausgeschaltet. Alle Funktionen sind verfügbar. Kurz vor Auslösung erfolgt Scharfstellung durch Autofocus. Bin zufrieden.
