For some reason the transmitter wouldn't trigger when using on my Canon DSLR. It would work sometimes if I restarted the camera and then other times not fire at all. I was really hoping this product would work.

Setting up the Godox CT-16 was incredibly straightforward. It took me just a few minutes to get everything connected and working. The transmitter easily slid onto the hot shoe of my camera, and the receivers connected to my flashes without any hassle. I use a mix of Canon and Nikon cameras, and I’m happy to report that the system worked flawlessly with both brands. The compatibility across multiple brands makes this trigger kit very versatile, which is a huge plus in my book. In terms of performance, the Godox CT-16 has exceeded my expectations. The wireless range is impressive—I've used it up to about 25 meters without any signal drops or delays. The triggers fire reliably every time, which is critical when you're in the middle of a shoot and can't afford any missed shots.

I'm a hobbyist photographer that got into digital SLR cameras as a means of taking better photos of my kids as they grew up. It's kind of matured from there with the collection of better gear and just an interest in taking better photos. As it currently stands, all of my Canon and Sony compatible flashes can already be triggered as slaves from one flash on my Sony a7iii, but it does take some setup and has limititations. With the use of this Godox trigger set, everything is good to go with minimal setup and without relying on an environment beneficial for optical triggering.I don't have a studio and don't often take portraits where off camera flash would be a better use of this set. But this will definitely help out with better flash coverage for our annual family photos. My only concern is the transmitter's fixed battery that supposedly should last many years. Not sure why they decided to use replaceable AAA batteries for both receivers but design the transmitter with a fixed battery that supposedly can't be replaced. It's basically a throw away transmitter at some point.

Oh man this kit brings me back about 15 years in photography tech when alternates to Pocket Wizards were coming out from companies like Yungnuo and so on. The Godox CT-16 on a basic level works. It was able to successfully trigger pretty much any hot shoe flash or studio strobe I connected it to pretty consistently (I tried it on some flashpoints, Buff Einstein, another Godox flash, and even some old Elinchroms). As triggers they worked fine and I only had about 1 or 2 misfire in every 50 pops or so.What I didn't like about these triggers is the fact the receivers take triple A's, and when you turn them on there's absolutely no way to know the unit is turned on or receiving power. It's annoying that you can't even use the unit first without supplying your own batteries. The LED that is on the receiver doesn't flash unless it's triggered. The transmitter itself doesn't have a user friendly way to replace the battery, and honest it looks like Godox more designed this to be used a few times and then tossed away. Fortunately it does say that the battery inside the unit is suppose to have over 10,000 pops in the sales pitch, so maybe not having an easily replaceable battery isn't a problem. The built in umbrella holder is actually pretty neat and efficient, but it sadly obstructs and tilts the unit if you plan on using it with flash feet. The bottom hotshoe connecter is all plastic, which is never a good thing. I've seen too many of those break on things like Pocket wizards, etc to know these will eventually break also from one bad fall or accident. The kit comes with a lot of spare parts to be able to attach it to a studio strobe if needed. I suggest getting a little case to carry it all. The case in the picture doesn't come with it, but I have a bunch of those mesh zipper cases just for situations like this and can't suggest them enough.Overall it works, and it's not a bad kit. Using AAA's is annoying, but what's more annoying is not knowing if the unit is even on without a confirmation light of any type. I'm teaching my daughter off camera flash for her high school journalism class so this is would be great for someone like her or someone starting with studio photographer/off camera flash. It's a good reasonable price before paying triple digit for more potent TX/RX systems. It's got a lot of small little fault and quirks, but is probably a good 3.5/5 as a product.

La señal parece ser muy débil o la pila del disparador podría estar descargada, como no puede cambiarse esta bateria no se si es el disparador o la señal por la pila

After several attempts over several months to get this to work with my Nikon and an SB900 I am ready to throw in the towel. The indicator test lights with the test button but no flash. Fresh batteries are no help. I can move my flash from this unit to the camera and it works perfectly, back to this unit, nada. This should be a plug and play item. Insert batteries, attach flash, shoot. Its not that easy for me. Three stars off for failing to be easy to use. Two for build quality.I'll keep trying and update if there is success.

So this works very good. You just need to make sure it's compatible with your camera. The quality is pretty good. Small and compact. It doesn't come with batteries. Works well. I never had any problems.

Easy set up, it works perfectly with my Sony A7R3 and A9R3. It triggers standalone flashes which is exactly what I'm looking for.
