Great trimmers for goats

I bought these for goat hoof trimming. The spring in the middle fell off after the first hoof. They were sharp but struggled through the softer tissue on the heal of the hoof. I was able to trim two goats but it was a hassle to manually open and close them instead of being spring loaded. I am now looking for an another trimmer that works better.

Took these out of the package as soon as they arrived and gave three goats a quick, effortless hoof trim. Good sturdy quality, nice weight and smooth cut, very sharp. I like the slightly rounded tip. Seems safer than the more pointed tip on my old hoof shears. Definitely worth a few extra bucks.
