I received the machine this afternoon. The box was extremely damaged, luckily the packaging was enough to protect most of the unit, minus some scratches in the metal. Not ideal, but it is exercise equipment, I can live with it. This is the fourth heavy exercise Item I have purchased from Amazon, delivered by Fed-Ex. Please use a different carrier, Fed-Ex just destroys heavy boxes, and damages product.For the product. The machine seems well made and mostly heavy enough. I am only 5'7", @250 lbs. and with the seat at its lowest setting, and the legs at the farthest setting, the padded bar sits a little too low on my chest/back. I can use the machine "effectively", but it would be better if the bar was about 2-3 inches higher up, or with some adjustability for different body types, or a seat that drops further down. Maybe sell an alternate bar for adjustments? But so far it seems ok. Will update review after some use.

I love the compact machine idea.. but this is lacking in many areas... It's not for shirt people (I'm 5 ft) I can't even adjust it to my height for comfort.. the piece that holds the weight plates comes away from the base and I'm constantly pushing it in.. the angle of the seat is ridiculous so I'm basically standing up trying to use this machine and it's doing nothing but tweaking my back out when it's supposed to work my back out. If it wasn't such a bitch to put together die to lack of descriptive instructions, I'd return it for a new machine.. now I'm have to spend more money to try to make this work ..

I always enjoyed the back extension machine at the gym and this piece of equipment does a good job replicating it. It was an added bonus that the ab motion was just as good. Great machine

WELL MADE, STURDY AND WILL DO THE JOB. HOWEVER MY ONE RECOMMENDATION IS TO PLACE NUMBERS ON THE ACTUAL PARTS SO THAT IT BECOMES EASIER TO ASSEMBLE AND LESS TIME CONSUMING. OTHERWISE A VERY GOOD MACHINE.
