This type DP male camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male quick connect adapter that attaches to and standard female cam and groove coupling. The body is made of polypropylene. These Type DP cam and groove fitting is made to quickly connect or disconnect. They comply with commercial item description A-A-59326D for quick disconnect fittings. These camlock fittings are often used in applications such as vacuum trucks, vacuum trailers, frac tanks, fuel delivery, grain movement and waste water industry. Camlock (cam and groove) fittings are popular couplings because they are economical and can easily be connected and disconnected. In addition to this cam and groove dust cap, Gloxco offers a full line of hose fittings with various types of connections. Gloxco hose fittings are used in systems such as oilfield water distribution, vacuum trailer, vacuum trucks, frac tanks, storage tanks, agriculture, mining, road construction, fire fighting, and aviation industry. These both male and female caps/plugs are great quality and seal tight. I like the fact they dont rust or corrode, are light weight and best of all are quick to connect and disconnect.

Fit perfectly as end-cap for a poly water tank fill-discharge hose. Since I store the hose outside (I use it to fill and empty my truck-bed poly water tank for hauling potable water to my cistern) I needed endcaps to keep out the dust, critters and arachnids. They fit perfectly and are very sturdy. I used the top loop to secure the caps to the hose fittings with a small gauge, braided wire kit.

This piece is much nicer than it appears in the stock photo. I purchased this as a temporary plug for a water line and was not expecting it to be as heavy duty as it is.
