Gloxco suction strainers are used on the suction end of a suction hose to help prevent debris from being sucked into your pump. It is a critical component as it can help prevent your suction pump from being damaged or clogged.

The suction strainer is used on the suction end of a suction hose to help prevent debris from being sucked into your pump. It is a critical component as it can help prevent your suction pump from being damaged or clogged.

The suction strainer has a female NPSH thread and will connect to a male NPT, NPS or NPSH nipple on your suction hose.

NPSH stands for National Pipe Straight Hose and is sometimes called NPS (National Pipe Straight). NPT stands for National Pipe Tapered.

These suction strainers are compatible with all National Pipe standards: NPT or NPSH or NPS.

The strainer is of average quality. It is plastic, you need to be careful.Left unprotected, it will break easily. I always put a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in it to protect the strainer. Helps keep it from plugging up as well. .It did take me almost 2 weeks to receive it.
