I haven't installed the unit yet, so I don't know about its performance. However, visibly, it should do fine for the intended application. Having the pad below the bolts sarrated to provide a better grip for the lugs, but this is minor thing.

There's really not much that can be said about such an item. Terminal blocks have been around for such a long time and have not really changed in design, so it's easy for a manufacturer to just copy an existing design and resell it. Whereas the very oldest designs might have been ceramic or bakelite with brass machine screws and washers, this one is a plastic body with stainless steel machine screws and connector bars. There is a *very* slight amount of flex in the plastic -- maybe 1/16" over the 8 7/8" length of the 14-pole (28 machine screws) unit -- so it's pretty stiff. The width is about 1 5/16".All in all though, it's a solid 3-star (i.e. "average") rating. It's perfectly acceptable and I could find no problems with it, but because it is such a standard type of item, it would be difficult for a manufacturer to come up with something that sets itself apart from the competition. If you need a good basic terminal block, this one works exactly as they are supposed to work.STAR RATING SCALE:1 -- Poor product; Waste of money at ANY price; Blatant lies in the original listing.2 -- Below average product; Something about it is a bit lacking; It could be conflicted specifications or errors in the original listing or that it was arrived with damage that was unlikely to have occurred during shipping and should have been caught in either the manufacturer's or seller's quality control.3 -- Average product; Meets expectations, perfectly serviceable, but does not do anything that sets it apart from similar products; Does not have some features that makes me say, "Wow, that's a neat feature".4 -- Above average product; Something about it sets it a bit above similar products on the market.5 -- Excellent product (or perhaps customer service); There is NO room for improvement whatsoever; NOTHING is perfect, so this rating *should* be EXTREMELY difficult to achieve.Ordered:2024-01-14Received:2024-01-18Reviewed:2024-01-18
