So, this hotspot comes with an installed "GlocalMe" esim, with a bit of prepaid data to get it running out of the box. I bought mine to use with a physical SIM card on a local mobile provider, and it worked perfectly. The web-based management user interface is fine, and fairly intuitive. I didn't install the app, though I suspect it will make it easier for owners to configure the hotspot and subscribe to Glocalme services. The hotspot lasts quite a few hours continuous (longer than 12 hours for me.) It had no issues connecting to my mobile network and provided reasonable (though not extraordinary) 4G upload and download speeds.

The hotspot is really effective. The plans however are on the pricey side and the data “seems to disappear at an accelerated rate because of their advertising that keeps popping up on the app”. I bought a separate SIM car and deleted the app….works great.

This is really reliable and handy when you're traveling. I always use ut when i travel outside of Canada. I load it before leaving and when i run out of load it is very easy to reload the data.

While deployed, I used this while the internet was down or needed to access banking. Pricing for use was reasonable.

Once I read the directions and figured out how to use it, this was amazing to have. I was not able to use my cell phone in any country that I went to when I was away from the hotels Wi-Fi when I use this, I was able to purchase a data package And just carry the little device with me and my phone worked everywhere. I was able to look up directions and be online and I wish I had known about this years ago.

Wow. What a great portable router. I travel doing product demos and end up in some sketchy cell coverage areas. Yet I need internet to function.and my cell carrier isn’t always there. This tool sorts and selects the best cell signal and converts it to a usable wifi signal. I just turn it on and connect.

This was a horrible product. First of all you needed internet to get your internet working!!! Well if I had access to Wi-Fi I wouldn’t need this unit. Then when it did function it was terrible service. And it gave you no idea of how much of your allotted time was used up. Terrible terrible terrible. I missed the window of returning this unit and now I’m stuck with it

Glad I purchased this before I went outside the States. It worked well and the signal was great for it being a portable WiFi. Turning it off and on to save battery life didn't take long to reconnect to my devices. You will have to play with it a bit to get familiar with it and don't forget to download the app. I recommend buying a bundle, but I didn't use up all the 8 Gb I purchased for my trip (shared with one other for 10 days), but I made sure background data was off to not have apps drain the data.Not gonna lie, you might get frustrated once you land and turn on the device. I was on a 16 hour flight and was getting frustrated that the device wasn't connecting right away since I was in a country I didn't know the language. Not sure if it was because the device needed time to register where I was since it was the other side of the world, but after calming down and letting the device do it's thing it worked well and I didn't have any issues with it during my trip.
