Did a test on the box with my Fluke 87 meter and selected 2k, meter reads 1.994 Ohms a 6 ohm difference. So insure buyer knows that it is not accurate. Check your desired resistance with a meter if your looking for precise resistance.

Very cheap stuff, very tiny surface-mount resistors, very low quality product. Spend a little more on a good quality decade resistor box, or build your own.

Took a while to find a resistor substitution box at a reasonable price that is good quality. This one is in a nice solid case and values are right on. Highly recommended.

Solid made and priced right. Tolerance good enough for me.

This seems to be a fairly high quality decade resistance box. I checked the resistances with my fluke 88, and they were pretty much spot on. The stand, if you can call it that, is useful. Some resistance boxes don't even have that. And it's padded. Again, some other boxes don't have that. Overall, a fair price for a good product. This would be a good tool for a mechanic, or an electronics guy.

This is very well built and rugged. It is not too light.. I can't comment about the long-term reliability yet.

I love this resistance box. I was looking at other boxes that were cheaper, but didn't get those because I would rather spend a little more money to get a good quality product. The resistances were spot on.It comes with a blue rubber protective cover that can be taken off. It also has a stand on the backside if you want it to stand upright. It also came with a clear plastic on the face so it wouldn't scratch. The resistances are easy to tell if it is on or off because when it is flicked up to on, it has a big white dot telling you its on. If you don't have any banana plugs, the plug ports can be screwed off so you can put a wire and screw it back on to use as leads.
