Your cart is empty. The CD-300 Capacitance Decade Box is a convenient tool aiding you both in design and testing as well as calibration of your test equipment. When needed to determine the correct capacitance value, the CD-300 offers 5 decades of capacitance ranges, from 100pF to 11.111uF (in 100pF steps). Slide switches allow for easy addition and subtraction of Capacitance values. Switches that are in the ON position are clearly marked by a white dot below it to easily distinguish it from those that are OFF. A rubber boot allows the user to prop up the unit for ease of viewing and changing of values.

I bought one of their resistance decade boxes and liked it so much that I bought two more. Since I was setting up my electronics work-space, and since I liked their decade resistance boxes so much, I decided to buy two of their decade capacitor boxes. They are very nice and work just like the resistance boxes, only for capacitor substitution. I tested the values with my capacitor tester as I ran through all the switches and everything was A-Okay. Really nice box. I did notice some reviewers complained that the protective plastic coating, that you peel off of the face, is trapped under the banana jacks. This is true but is easily taken care of. Being forewarned by the reviews, before peeling it off, I took a sharp X-Acto blade and carefully ran it around the base of the posts. Then I peeled off the protective coating and had no issues getting it off cleanly. I am very pleased to add these decade boxes to my electronics equipment setup.
