Your cart is empty.This armor shield floor pad provides an important protective layer between a vinyl swimming pool liner and it's sand or soil base. Unlike traditional foam padding, armor shield is a polypropylene geotextile material that prevents cuts and punctures to the vinyl liner caused by rocks, roots, grass and even glass. Armor shield also reduces convective heat loss and provides a comfortable floor pad for tired feet. Above ground liner is installed with an armor shield floor pad. Available in round shape and 18-feet diameter.

I bought this to go under my 18' x 48" Intext Easy Set pool. I have heard horror stories of weeds growing through vinyl pools, so I wanted extra insurance against that. I laid this exactly where I wanted the pool, so it also helped when it came time to know where the pool was to go. I haven't had any trouble with weeds, even though there are weeds outside of the pool edge (where the cloth is not). This was a great purchase and I expect to be able to use it for many years to come. I'll just hose it off and dry it after taking the pool down for the year.

I bought this for our above ground pool. We live in west Texas and have some wicked weeds. We cleared the ground well and leveled it but wanted to protect from nutsedge. So far so good. Would definitely recommend if you plan to leave up your pool year round.

I bought this for more protection under my pool. I used the Intex liner, and that ripped as a straightened it out. Definitely, this liner is going to protect my pool and keep debris from poking through very happy.

I ordered my protector bigger so I didn't need to worry about having it positioned exact. This protectors very durable, easy to lay and provides the protection I needed between the papers and the poolli er to prevent holes. I highly recommend.

I just replaced an old liner because weeds started breaking through the bottom during the winter break.With this liner protection I am confident that that will not ever happen again.Also we have a thin layer of white beach sand under the pool, which is not recommended because it doesn't compact and you can leave footprints through the liner, with this protection that is much less of an issue.I ordered black but for some reason received white ... but I don't really care, you can't see it anyway.

We have put up a pool for years and only used a "tarp" to place under the pool. This year we decided that we were going to add a pad. It is not really a pad, like you think it would be. It is strong material. Surprisingly we have noticed a difference in the floor of the pool. It has made a difference and we are very happy with this product. Would buy this again.
