Wheels are much nicer than the broken originals on my roller duffel. I was impressed with quality of hardware provided. Everything nicely machined and finished, and wheel bearings seem very smooth. The axle retention screws have a touch of locking compound on them to secure the fit - a nice touch. Two small 4mm hex wrenches included for installation but I found a micro ratchet with 4mm bit to be very helpful. Be patient, you will need both hands for installation. You should take note that 2 sets of axles are included, one set is about 4mm longer than the other. One set or the other may fit better on your specific bag. Washers are also included as spacers, if needed. You may have to try a couple of combinatons to see what fits best for your bag.Hardest part is removing old wheels. Mine were riveted and needed to be drilled out. I found a 5/16” drill bit worked best for my 6mm axle rivets. Go slow with the drill in the center of the rivet and stop as soon as you see the wheel start to turn - means you are through the rivet cap and can now pull it out with small pliers and remove old axle. Avoid drilling out the plastic hole on your bag’s bracket.

The Gladder luggage wheels (pair) are crafted from durable PU material and feature smooth bearings for exceptional performance. Before purchasing, make sure to measure the size of the wheels on your existing luggage. To install these on your damaged luggage wheels, use a hacksaw to cut the wheel pin in the center without harming the outer wheel holder. Once done, remove the center portion, insert the new wheel, and secure it with the provided L-Keys. Be sure not to overtighten the middle pin. Overall, these wheels are a great solution for refurbishing your luggage and bringing it back to life.

These should fit most rolling luggage as they fit 5/16 bolts or 3/8’s as they come with bushings. Arrived on time to save the day or many days!

This set of wheels arrived QUICK!!! Included are two sets of axles (two different lengths) an 4 locking screws, and the hex head keys needed to install them. Installation took minutes and, so far, they are completely silent and smooth.New life for my carry on!

These wheels are quiet, and easy to install. Great replacement wheels, sturdy. I changed out some that were very noisy because they had a tread.

Being urethane, I'm sure these will outlive the rubber wheels on my 20+ year-old, pricey suitcase. The rubber finally fell off in clumps all over my house. These bearings and wheels alike seem to be very very smooth. I needed the large size and the 8mm axle diameter -- and these guys had it. Recommended.
