Use Skill :
This hot air device should be connected to a suitable power supply power socket by using the connection cable. If necessary use your own, unwound certified extension cable.
Switching on : using your thumb, push the On/off Switch towards the handle and hold. After about 1-2 minutes the device will have reached the operating temperature.
Then touch the nozzle directly to coal or kindling to ignite; if sparks appear or coals start to glow, pull back slightly a few inches, giving it space will help the heat to spread out, continue to point (60 seconds) to allow airstream to complete heating process
Switching Off : release the On/Off Switch. The switch will slide back into the starting position and switch itself off. Unplug the lighter after removal from the fire and allow the lighter to cool down completely before storage.
Note:
Depress the trigger, put the comburent together and put the air outlet close to the eage of comburent will help it burn faster than at its surface.
When using the electric charcoal fire starter, please continue to press the trigger forward. If you release it, it will stop working.

The cord is long enough to reach my outlet without an extension cord, it heats up quickly and gets the lump charcoal burning within just a couple of minutes!

I love the way these work, while they work. I use one 2x - 3x / week, year round, and get 1 - 2 years out of them, before they start to falter. Feels too short lived, but then I do BBQ a LOT. I'll keep buying them, though.

Cuts my grilling time by over half. Oh how I wished I'd know about this years ago. No more lighter fluid, just hold it down near charcoal and let it do its thing. I move mine around to start my charcoal pile and it works exceptionally well. Very happy with this purchase.

I originally had a Homelite and the thing was amazing. The button sticks on it so I thought I would buy a new one. Well my dumb self thought I was buying another Homelite when it was this one. I gave it a shot a few times but it struggles bad. I have given up using it and just use the broken Homelite instead. By the time I decided to return it it was 2 days past the date. Guess I own it but it does not heat the coals very well at all. I do not know if I have a faulty unit or what ever but I do know I want to order something else.
