Purchased for skiing after I broke my hip and had a replacement. Not too bulky and stopped me from getting bruised when I took a tumble. They need to be either ticked into keep fit shorts or taped to your skin and I found that when walking it did slip down. Would definitely recommend

I broke my hip skiing and wanted some extra security for my new hip. The protectors sit inside cycling shorts, feel secure and don't move.

I was concerned that they might not stay in place on cross-country (sweaty) MTB rides, but they do! However, sweat does pool right below them (which I don't notice while I'm riding) in 60 degree weather

Unless you are wearing tight road bike shorts they won't stay on let alone stay in place. Good try G-Form but not there yet.

I use this for skateboarding especially when learning new tricks on transition. Slip them into my sports inner tights to protect my hips area. Usually I get bruised badly on hips when I slam at the skatepark and have to end my session, but with these pads I can get up & keep on skating.
