great machine...was a replacement from a simlar machine...this one is just way better. Its lighter, its easy to use...and the locking espresso pod is an awesome feature.

We use the heck out of this machine. My wife is a barista at a local coffee shop and wanted the ability to make her fancy coffee at home. This thing works great!

I have had this coffee grinder for about 2 year's now and it's still working as good as the day I bought it. It can grind from medium to a fine ground. I have a French Press, and this grinder works great and does the job!

For the price of the combo, it is actually quite good. Not as good as a $1000 machine but seriously better than I expected.Couple things I noticed, on the grinder the little plastic piece that holds the portafilter puts the portafilter about 1/4" too far to the front and the grinds end up piling up over the back instead of falling into the center. I think this will be 'modded' by me with a utility knife - it looks easy enough to scrape away some of the plastic on the piece to allow it to slide back further. Grinder works well and consistently, and better with the time function to really dial it in. I typicslly use the same bean and grind so it was a set and forget 8 seconds - unless the power is unplugged then it defaults back to a much higher time - pay attention to the number before you hit grind.On the coffee machine, it vibrates enough that the included glass espresso cups (which were a nice surprise and I love them) are at risk of falling off the side of the machine. I might need to find a way to weight down the metal tray so it doesn't vibrate so much. The machine is pretty light also and you need to hold on to the top to install or remove the portafilter or else the whole unit will turn along with it. It would be nice to have a little booster seat or fold down tray to hold smaller cups.Overall though, happy with the unit and would buy again. Seems like a great value for 'beginner' espresso people. I came from a DeLonghi machine that as 5x the money and for me this is 'good enough', so that's a good recommendation for this little combo.Let's see how long it lasts! I could give it 5 stars for value alone, short the little complaints above that are no big issues.

I purchased this espresso grinder set to help me save money. And I have saved money this year!Instead of buying my espresso I am able to make a good espresso at home with this system. I know that some of the reviews talk badly about the grinder, and I have to somewhat agree. The grinder is a bit hard to work with. Make sure to read the instructions and keep your grinder clean. At times I have to knock the side of the grinder to help the beans drop down. This is the only reason I gave it a three-star. If the company improves the grinder I would give this a five-star review.The espresso machine is worth the purchase. Like I said I have saved the value of the machine over the past 6 months. I am able to make a delicious espresso each morning and I don't have to buy a store-bought espresso. I make my own the way I like it! The machine is easy to use. It is self-explanatory. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who loves a good espresso and is willing to take 5 to 7 minutes to make their own. By the way, you usually have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to pick up your espresso on any given morning. And who wouldn't want to save 6 dollars and 2 minutes of time?!

I purchased this just in time for it to arrive for Mother's Day and I couldn't have been happier.I did a lot of research about these machines. In truth, I'm sure that there are better ones out there. However, this one fit my needs, budget and asthetic wants perfectly. It comes with more gadgets and gizmos than I thought I could ever need. It was a total blast to learn everything about how to use them. I never use the single serve portion, but it works great to hold the tamper when it is not in use.It has the strongest bar pressure and came with the burr grinder with all of the grind great adjustments. Everything from fine espresso to french press to drip. Like all burr grinders, you occasionally have to tap the side to get the beans to fall into the grinder, but that is not a deal breaker for me. The beans that I use are pretty dark and oily and I haven't had that cause any issues with the grinder.It took me a little bit to learn how to make a great espresso. If you're a current or former barista, this will be a walk in the park. If you're like me and new to the barista side of the coffee window, it may take a couple of minutes to find your perfect cup. Enjoy experimenting with mochas, lattes, and anything you dare.I highly recommend purchasing this. You won't regret it!
