Simple to use once you get the hang of it. The blades were breaking at first but maybe due to user error. Works to cut just about all kinds of small metals.

Works great for diecasts and makes it so much easier and cleaner to cut through than a dremel

Does what it’s supposed to do! Easy reinstall saw blades if you break one, and easy to get tension on the blade as well. It’s fit every sawblade that I’ve used so far from 2 to 0/4. Nice size handle, it’s comfortable to use. As far as how deep you can cut, i might need to upgrade saws because so often i am haunted in my project and have to stop what im doing to start cutting from a different direction because this saw isn’t deep enough for me. For most people, im sure it will work great. Seems durable and has a nice classic design.

Measures 7.9"L x 4.7"W x 0.4"H. Good for small hands & a beginner at sawing. Get this before you spend more! You will want to get better blades. They break easy!

I originally purchased this a few moths ago to cut some rounded shapes out of 3/4" white pine and it worked great. Recently I needed to cut a circle out of a steel electrical box cover, so I came to Amazon to look for metal cutting rod-like blades I thought I'd seen before. I couldn't find any, but one of the search results that came up was this saw. I read the description again and saw that the blades could be used on wood. plastic and metal. I was EXTREMELY skeptical, but figured I didn't have anything to lose by trying. I started with the same blade I'd used for my wood project (#2) and made no progress before the blade snapped. I then decided to try a finer toothed blade (#30) and was shocked to find that it cut the metal! Not only did it do so, but it took little effort. I cut about 1/2" and then the blade snapped. The metal cover and the blade got pretty hot, so I sprayed both with WD-40 before starting again with a fresh blade. It took a total of 5 blades, but I got the job done. 2 of the blades snapped when I moved the cover too roughly while positioning it, not from actually sawing. If I'd been skilled enough, I believe I could have cut the entire circle with 1 blade, as they did not seem to lose their edge at all before I snapped them. The saw itself is sturdy and seems well constructed to me. The frame has no flex whatsoever and adjusts smoothly, and the thumbscrews all hold securely. It definitely exceeded my expectations and is a nice addition to my arsenal of tools.

This is one of the better jewellers saw on the market.I have purchased three so far and they were of no use.One I returned to the manufacturer the others I kept but discarded them. What I like about this saw is its sturdiness and the quantity of blades that comes with it.I would not hesitate to recommend this saw to anyone.

I am a handtool woodworker. This saw cuts cleanly through the dovetail waste in 3/8th inch hardwood in about 10 or 12 strokes per tail. For my money, you can't beat that for efficiency. This seems to be about the same tool as the $50 Rob Cosman fret saw, minus the hockey tape... seriously. I'm not paying 35 bucks more just for a handle wrapped in hockey stick tape. Oh that saw comes with just 12 blades. This saw comes with 144!! In 8 different tooth sizes. The largest is what I use for dovetails. I haven't tried in 1/2 inch hardwood yet, but 3/8th inch Cherry cuts like butter. 3/4 inch might be pushing the limits of thr tool, but I haven't tried, just a guess. Just be sure to put a lot of tension on the saw blade and take your time. Set the saw blade tooth direction so it cuts on the pull stroke. A tip to gain the clearance you need to cut dovetail waste is to take needlenose pliers and after installing the blade, twist each end 30 or 40 degrees, so the blade cuts on an angle. This allows the frame to clear the workpiece. The build quality is there. The saw blades are numerous and quite sharp. A great deal and this tool has found a place in my toolbox. @PalasWoodcraft on IG.
