Already bent on the bottom where the bolts are and i do not tow large/heavy trailers.

The ram 2.5” hitch has a short neck making it hard to find a hitch tightener that works. This one works well. Be sure to use thread locker and check your bolts about 200 miles into the trip. Worked well for a reasonably heave trailer 7800lbs on a 4.5” drop hitch.

Using a 2.5" fixed forged 4" drop ball mount can be difficult to find an anti rattle clamp for because the angle of the shank as it leaves the receiver tube. Most anti rattle clamps are designed for adjustable hitches which come straight out of the receiver tube. After trying four different brands, landed on this one and it works well. The great thing about this clamp is that it takes up minimal room on the shank of the ball mount. Well built and secures the hitch. It's gonna leave a little scratch (as do all of them) but nothing a little touch up paint can't fix.

Very solid, great fit, easy to install, the hitch is solid. No rattle and the bolts stayed tight. I’ll be towing the boat to the coast next weekend which is 180 miles one way and update this review. It performed perfectly last weekend which was about 50 miles each way with no issues

This item felt flimsy and from what I could tell, it will rust if left on your hitch, especially if you launch in the ocean.
