It is great. Just a little too heavy for me to handle. I like that the mop head, can be thrown into the laundry and washed. I hang it to dry so it is good to go for the next use. I think you could probably put it into the dryer. It is very absorbent. I washed it before trying to use it, as I have experienced mops not being washed first are usually not very absorbant.

Ordered two of these mops. They both arrived within 2 days of ordering, which was great. However, both boxes came damaged. The first mop had the handle snapped in half. It looked like Chuck Norris was hired at Amazon, then broke it over his pinkie toe and threw it in the box. The second mop, after careful inspection, had part of the clamp not properly bent in the correct position, making it a pain to add/remove the mop head (or so it looked). So, I immediately stopped the UPS guy and returned them within seconds of receiving them. There was 0 packaging in the box...just the mop head and mop handle. My company does a lot of shipping, and this is pure-amateur-packaging. I'm surprised it made it this far. The broken half of the mop handle was falling out of the box when UPS gave it to me!! The box itself was stapled shut with those industrial copper staples, yet it still was opened before I got it.The handle themselves were two different sizes, plus one was warped (unbroken one).I asked for a replacement since I already paid for it, but just based on my first experience with this item, I wouldn't order it again. Yes, it's cheap, but so are the people that made and shipped it. Let's be real though...there is no excuse for shipping two broken items. As I'm writing this, I'm starting to think I should just get a refund...good luck though.

Very sturdy mop. Nice handle. I have 9 foot ceilings and its perfect length for me. It's a bit on the heavy side when wet but I prefer that then a cheap lightweight mop. I made the mistake of washing the mop head in the washing machine (after my first use today) and it turned into a big ball of badly tangled cotton. And chunks of cotton all over my washer. I washed it on delicate with hot water. Not sure if the hot water did it or it's just not washable. I had to throw it away, it wasn't useable anymore. I will be rinsing the new one with water, wringing it and then air drying it once it comes. Pleased with my purchase and my floor looks great!

I got this for the long handle. I got more than I asked for. It is a quality product that will last a long time. Attention to detail such as the brass wing nut to take the water and chemicals without rusting is indicative of the quality overall. Yes, it is more than the 2 buck mop. And you won't be trashing this baby soon. All I have to figure out is how to buy a new cotton head for when this one eventually dies.

This is a great mop except for a couple of things:1. It was too large to fit through the wringers of the Behren's galvanized steel pail I bought to use it with. You can dunk the mop in the pail fine, but when pulling it through the wringers the sides of the mop stay soaking wet. Wish the mop head were a bit narrower.2. Even with most of the water wrung out, this mop is heavy.3. A smaller size mop head would make more sense for home use. This one is more like something you'd use to mop a huge open room.4. The handle is very long. Kept banging it into the ceiling and walls.Despite these things, this is a QUALITY product. Well made, the mop head removes for washing, and it will last forever.

I purchased this mop several years ago along with the Rubbermaid commercial dual-sided mop bucket. My downstairs has over 1000 square feet of slightly textured tile that seems to pick up dirt easily. The steam mops and cheap sponge mops didn't do a sufficient job and the floors are too big to get down and scrub the whole thing by hand on a regular basis. This mop is very absorbent, large, and heavy, allowing the user to clean a big surface area quickly while actually getting all the dirt up.These attributes were perfect for my needs but there are some downsides. Because the mop is so thick and heavy, it can be kind of a pain to clean. To do this I usually fill up the sink or bucket with water and a little bleach, soak a bit, then swish around to rinse the dirt off. Then drain and fill it up again with plain water and swish around to get the remaining dirt off. Wring it out really good and spread the fibers out so it can dry and drain. Because the thick cotton fibers take a long time to dry, the bleach water helps prevent mildew.Considering these pros and cons, this mop paired with a dual-sided bucket is great for a large surface area that is hard to clean. It may be too cumbersome and overkill for smaller areas considering the large size and the effort required to clean the mop when finished. I am still giving it five stars because these downsides are not a fault of the product, which is very well made.

I'm not a janitor but I like to keep in shape. We have 3000SQ feet of Tile and a 3 year old that makes messes on a daily basis. My wife likes this electric thing which does very well but takes a long time. This mob works as fast as you do and swabs floors like a pro. My wife's more than a foot smaller than me and can't handle this mop. For me it's perfect. I feel like I'm swabbing the deck of a mighty ship. The floor looks like a mirror. This mop will not only give you a work out but turns mopping into a macho thing. I mean that half-joking, but it's a great mop, I really like it and my wife likes the fact that her husband is now happily mopping the floors. I would recommend getting a good bucket system to wring the water.Something like this is excellenthttp://www.amazon.com/GJO60466-Bucket-Wringer-Casters-Yellow/dp/B001PMJUKI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328561257&sr=8-1and much more sanitary than wringing the water out by hand. It also vastly lessens your "work out" but gotta take the good with the bad.
