This item is genuine. I bought some 18$ ones and the lasted a month or two. These are on for over two years. No more blocking D light. 2002 Honda CRV

It is an OEM Honda part so I know it will be durable. Replacing my old and dusted 3rd gear transmission oil pressure sensor.

Appears to be a genuine Honda part. Came in a honda baggie that looked legit, says made in Japan on the bag. Fixed my car's shifting issue. Cheaper than buying from the dealership.

Used this on a 2005 Honda Pilot, I replaced the same P/N switches on my 2008 Acura TL as well.I was initially concerned this might be counterfeit part, as the price is 30% lower than online Honda dealers sell them for. I had already purchased one of this same part from an online Acura dealer for my TL, and thought to give these a try to replace on my Pilot. It appears these are indeed Honda genuine, and thus far these really cleaned up the shifts on my Pilot (& my TL as well w/ dealership sourced parts). I was having slight slip 2nd-3rd shift when cold, followed by a JERKY 3rd-4th shift under light throttle both hot & cold. Thus far all shift quality is now very crisp and direct. Very satisfied, plus this is significantly cheaper than online retailers! If you own a Honda or Acura vehicle, replacing these switches w/ OEM quality parts can definitely be beneficial to shift quality!

But fit fine and will see how it does, same look as lesser priced ($20 or less) options. Came inside a reused Honda “OEM” plastic wrap.

Was getting randomly a flashing D light on my dash. Someone suggested to try this past first before going to any sort of mechanic or dealer. Wow. A 15 minute fix. Now my truck is shifting so smooth I didn’t even realize it wasn’t shifting good before. Definitely worth it so far.

I replaced both the 3rd and 4th gear switch's and the Drive light stopped flashing. It works fine now and saved a lot of money by not having to take it to a dealership for what could have led into a lot of unnecessary and expensive repairs.

If you have a shifting problem with an older Honda Odyssey, before you get a complete transmission rebuild, at least eliminate this pressure switch as the problem. Immediately before installation, the transmission lurched often when shifting between first and second gear. After reviewing this site and others on the web -- and having this part being ID'd by my shop -- I conveniently bought this part from this vendor. The USPS tracking system was very good. This little part literally made my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission shift, if not completely like new, then like it hasn't in quite a long while.Fair warning: It looks like an "oil" pressure switch. One reputable shop I took it to would not even entertain installing it, saying I needed a rebuild or at the very least a new solenoid. Another, this time a Japanese auto repair shop, thought it was an oil pressure switch only to check and confirm that it was also used on transmissions. They installed it, problem solved, and buying it on Amazon saved $40.00 off of the shop's retail part markup. I hesitated installing this myself though. It was up on the top side and pretty much out in the open but I did not have a reliable enough guide of some sort to feel comfortable enough to do this on my own. I probably would have done so had someone put something up on YouTube specifically for a Honda Odyssey. (Someone had done so for a Prelude; close, but not quite the same.)
