Bought products to stop seal leak. Have only driven car a few miles but has slowed seal leak dramatically. And 1st to second gear slip has stopped completely. Engine is Pontiac GTO with over 600hp and over 700 FP torque.

The 6-speed ZF transmission in my BMW 545i had all the symptoms of impending failure; jerky, slow shifts, delayed engagement of reverse; all worse when hot. Thinking that these are also symptoms of low pressure caused by internal leakage, I replaced my newly-filled, oem-type fluid with thicker RedLine D4 fluid (approved by RedLine) and a bottle of GM Automatic Transmission Seal Conditioner. The results were dramatic. The initial improvement from the D4 was compounded by a progressive improvement as the Conditioner went to work. I love to drive it now just to feel the transmission shift. The Material Safety Data Sheet reveals that the product is manufactured by Afton, which is a major supplier of ATF blending packages to the big oil companies. This is the real deal, not like the juice at the local auto supply that is supposed to fix every problem.
