I've used gunk trans medic in slipping transmission sometime's combined with a bottle of Lucas to get a few more years out of them. This improved the shifting in my 2007 Toyota Avalon which still shifts weird but that's also because it's an annoying transmission design in my opinion. This is the first time I bought the synthetic version usually I bought the one in the green bottle that's cheaper but the stores near me stopped stocking it.You need to consult someone familiar with your car before using this product to fix a slipping transmission because there are different reasons it would slip. In my 1988 300ZX the transmission was slipping very badly and I did a home flush which improved it some, then added gunk transmedic and it shifted nicely for several years before getting bad again and needing a rebuild. On newer cars, if you talk to mechanics they might tell you if the transmission fluid hasn't been changed in a long time than you shouldn't change it or change the fluid but not the filter because there's friction material suspended within the transmission fluid and without it, the transmission will fail sooner.Everything I say is my experience, do not take it as advice.

This stuff is ok but i end up draining this stuff out after a week and i purchase Lucas and thats is the best stuff that really works u will notice it right away.

This one is the best. This product works primarily by softening the seals inside of an automatic transmission. It also has friction modifying additives. My transmission has 234,000 miles on it and had developed a rough, slightly delayed first shift. I added one bottle just before a day of off and on driving. After about the first hour of driving, it was shifting like new again. It has continued to shift good and I was surprised at how fast it worked.

This treament is the best i own a 2004 grand vitara and was not getting reverse gear to go in at times,it felt like the van was still in netural and from the moment i poured in this trement no proublem ever since.
