OEM part, purchased through Frigidaire store. It seemed to fix the problem, but only lasted about 6 months. Amazon says to contact Frigidaire, but Frigidaire says they do not warranty anything purchased on Amazon. So buyer beware.

Part works fine, although I replaced the Damper also at the same time so not sure if this part was necessary to replace but I chose to replace both parts at the same time since they work together. The part has a tab that slides into a small slot (open) area under the damper and this is difficult to navigate. The best solution is to tape it into place before installing it into the opening between the refrigerator and freezer area (hole).Price is pretty high considering what it is, but it is a necessary part.

frigidaire are basically crooks. you call the customer service number and they tell you to call a technician ..no help ..this item sent does not work properly.. defective just like the fridge

Keep track of what screw goes where. Use your cell camera to photo the wires.Clumsy to replace but it fixed my freezing problems.

Solved my problem. Had an error message “op” on my temperature display which after doing some research, indicated a open thermostat.Took maybe 15 minutes to install and no more errors. Fridge seems to run less frequently and Ice maker seems to make more ice.
