Came home one day to the smell of gasoline in my garage to find the petcock om my generator failed and my float was stuck in the lower position so it drained about 2 gallons of gas all over the garage flloor. The petcock was easy to remove and installation of the new one was just as easy. It has not leaked so far. The price is nice too. 5 STARS

Few weeks ago we had a power outage that lasted days. I could not use my generator because the petcock was leaking bad. This one looked a little different in style but screwed on the same so I gave it a try. It screwed on and worked perfect. It comes without the strainer inserted. You basically just insert the strainer/filter in the hole and screw it on. It comes with an O-ring that helps it seal, but I put a little thread sealer on the threads of mine just in case. It works just as good or better than the original. I also love that it comes two to a pack. Now I have a spare in case this ever happens again. Total time to install it was about two minutes. Very happy and highly recommend.
