Just like OEM. Take out left center brake light, reach around and remove the connecting wire on old switch. Squeeze switch to release catch and push old switch down out of hole. Pop new switch in and connect wire. Replace tail light. I was done in 5 min. Works like new now.

Don’t buy your GM parts when you can buy them from Amazon for a fraction of the price. This was basically an easy replacement. Look for a how to video on YouTube.
