I use this brayer to spread acrylic paint on my Gelli Plate. It's lightweight with a smooth roller (no real skipping or stuttering) but the edge of the roller leaves faint lines on my Gelli Plate which can affect the outcome of my project.I give 5 stars because I think most brayers have this problem and this one's affordable and worth getting.

As several others have mentioned, the ends of the roller are flared. This renders it useless for smooth coverage. Luckily I noticed this before removing the wrapper and I will be returning it. It seems this is poor design and Gel Press should modify it. You can get perfectly workable brayers for the same price. Not worth it!

The edges of the roller are flared out so that it leaves lines on the paint surface. No matter how many times I roll over the paint, whether I press lightly or press firmly, the lines will not go away. This roller is useless.

I like the shape and size of this brayer. It fits easily in your hand and is easy to use. I especially like using it with my 5x7" gel plate.

I just got into gel printing and this is great. I have some “real” artist friends who sell large scale paintings and they have some more expensive ones but this works just as well!
