If you are a print-maker or use a gelli plate, you know that embellishing a print with something that doesn't have the same "plate tone" can look jarring. I use these brayers which range from about 1/2" to 1.5" to add lines and curves to gelli prints that need a little something something, and because they have the correct brayer texture, the lines look like they belong, vs out of place. I wouldn't use these to ink your gel plate because it would take forever. These are more of an accessory. For traditional printmaking, if you make really small prints, these could help you not waste ink or get ink all over like you would if you were using a standard 4" brayer for inking.

These brayers don’t roll very well, and they aren’t actually round. I may be able to do some work on them and make them functional, but they will never be good. I guess that’s what I get for going with cheap ones.

I really like this roller set it’ s a perfect addition to the standard ink rollers. Especially helpful for adding different colors to smaller spaces on my plate.

I've started using these brayers to apply thin layers of acrylic paint to my abstract works. These work great for this purpose. I like the different size options in this set so all my needs are met. The quality of the tools is excellent...sturdy and well made. A great set of brayers!
