This shear is manufactured from a high-quality stainless steel alloy with a rockwell hardness rating of 57. This alloy allows the blade to be honed to razor sharpness. Blades stay sharp for months. Shears are precision weighted and balanced. Handles and finger rests are contoured for maximum comfort. Double-screw tension produces smooth scissoring. They are way to heavy. The blade is way to fat. The finger holes too small. I'd say made in china..

They are alot smaller than expected.so they are fine for small dogs or little things.they came and stayed very sharp.i do not like how they cut though.i also dont like how wide the cutting blade is .maby good for someone else but not my fav.i did get curved scorpion kenchiis and i like those alot better.

These work great! Boy are they sharp... watch out. I watched several videos online to learn how to trim up my maltese. I use these after cutting her with the clippers to cleanup the wayward hairs; especially on her legs and chest. I would recommend them, but they are super sharp, so be careful.

These are wonderful. I am just learning and started out with cheap scissors from my local pet store. What a difference quality scissors make. Every job is easier with the right tools. These scissors feel great in your hand, good weight, well made and super sharp. I bought two other Geib scissors after getting these and love them all!

These are high end scissors. Use them to trim our Afghan Hounds, and the scissors work like fine surgical instruments. Rather than just getting by with the lesser stuff made you-know-where, these are a world apart. Well worth the investment.

These shears are quality and sharp. They cut in one swipe. I'm extremely pickey and critical about performance and quality. This product along with the thinning shears are a must have to maintain my Shitz Shu's hair. Quality products makes grooming easy and fast. My old shears I had to open and close several times before they would cut. keep them oiled. I love this brand.

I like these shears, they are easy to handle and do the job for final touch up work, I also use them to do a full grooming job on small dogs.I have used the Ed.Geib Shear for a few weeks now and would recommend them over the Double Duck shears that I had purchased, They are extremely sharp and cut well, they are very light weight and I enjoy working with them.

The order arrived well packaged and in record time. Great job by he Seller.I already rated the curved shears since bought both the straight and curved . I am very impressed with the quality of these scissors. The scissors seam to fit my hands very well and I am able to do both of the dogs without having my hand wrist or dumb feeling tired. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend these scissors. There is no way one can beat the price considering that most of the lefty shears I found where in a price range of $200 and more, not the kind of money a pet owner doing her own grooming in order to save money wants to spend.Any groomer will tell you: "Good shears are a must" I do a lot of hand scissoring on my poodles and these shears fit my budget as well as my demand for a great cut. I am totally pleased with this purchase.
