These are the worst shears ever. They will not cut the hair on my dog at all! I have a Shih Tzu with fine hair and you have to blend the fur on their legs.. This won't do it. Do NOT buy this.

These thinning shears work wonders. Although the shipping time was a little longer than expected, they were worth the wait. A dog I just acquired had severe matting on his tail area. U used these shears to loosen those knots and it allowed me room to work on complete removal of the matted area. Using these shears I was able to snip through a bit of the matt at a time with out causing him harm. These shears are light weight and work amazingly. I have since used them to thin out my Yorkie's coats for the summer heat and they work great for that too. I am 100% please with my purchase and highly recommend these shears.
