I love the wrenches and they are a pleasure to use. They have nice touches like saying "On" for the on position and "off" for the off position. They are relatively thin very ergonomic to hold. My only complaint was I wish I had bought the 120 tooth version for better reach in tight spots.

I use these for basic tasks, oil changes, brake jobs, spark plugs etc. I have no issues with these ratchets. I’m my personal opinion they are very similar to the Matco 88 tooth and definitely have a better feel and design than the Craftsman, Husky or Kobalt brands. Great price for a good quality tool.

Great mid level tool, can take the abuse of a shop and a definite step up for any home garage or handyman. The longer handles are great for that extra torque on rusted nuts.

I have the articulating head ratchets but found I needed fixed head too. (Replacing old 45 tooth Craftsman ratchets.) These GearWrench tools work so much better than the old school ratchets.

I'm impressed with these 84 tooth ratchets as well as my Gearwrench120XP's. They are very smooth and the ratchet teeth are nice and tight. It is hard to beat the quality and price point of these tools. I'm looking forward to adding to my Gearwrench collection.

These tools are great. Full praise to gearwrench brand tools! I wish it were more clear on that you were buying, but I feel it was an oversight on my part, not the manufacturers.I wanted the long pattern 3/8" & 1/2" drive set I got a 1/4" & 3/8" drive set. Went back to review my order and found I got EXACTLY what I selected, submitted and paid for. None the less, with the long pattern 3/8" ratchet, I have nearly retired my standard length half inch drive ratchet. It's smaller head and extra length make getting into any space easier, it way lighter than a half inch drive, and it's high enough tooth count to do anything and hold up strong, even with a sissy pipe.

I love the Gearwrench 84 tooth ratchets! Smooth, strong great chrome finish. Gearwrench never disappoints. I have many Matco tools as well and these are every bit as good as those. The 1/4" drive is the perfect length for tough to reach higher torque situations. Buy them you won't regret it.

Very well made ratchets. Long handle configuration is very comfortable to use - i've been looking for a nice long-handle 1/4" ratchet for a long time. I was a Craftsman guy for a long time, but they didn't offer a 1/4" long-handle that I could find and it's been getting harder to find Craftsman tools locally lately. However, this set has convinced me that GearWrench makes some VERY nice tools, much nicer than what I'm used to. I think I will be slowly switching over...

Only reason im giving 4 stars is because i havent had them long so i cant say much as far as how they take wear....but they are really nice, smooth, solid ratchets im a deisel generator tech so ill be giving them a beating in the feild but so far they are awesome, might even be my favorite ratchets

Good quality set of ratchets. The heads are nice and narrow as advertised and feels very quality overall. The switch for direction is much nicer to use than the types where you have to turn the whole back of the head. I'm happy enough with them that I will be purchasing the 1/2 inch ratchet to complete the set. Unfortunately the 3 piece set doesn't appear to be available on Amazon.ca.As usual Amazon.ca is missing basic product info, this is the 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch set. The 1/4 inch is 7 inches in overall length with a 3/8 thick head. The 3/8 inch is 11 inches in overall length with a half inch thick head. Also included are pictures of packaging and included tray.The included tray for the ratchets I would say meets the bare minimum thickness for what I'd consider using for storage in the tool box. It doesn't really advertise as including a storage tray so I suppose that's extra points rather than points off.
