Faster shipping than I expected. And I had the most difficult filter to remove. Those 3 prong things broke and didn’t even budge the filter. Next the pliers. They didn’t work at first but I needed them once the strap tool loosened the filter. If you are working on a bike or tractor save your money. Buy this first and last it works it works

Had a stuck on oil filter. This filter was the worst I’ve ever worked on. Thank goodness for this tool, paired it with a 28” breaker bar and still had to use some effort to get it off. Simple yet extremely powerful and effective.

I can never get my oil filter off using a metal band remover but these clothe ones are easier to store as they are able to wrap around themselves so only take up the room an extension for a ratchet would 10/10 would buy again but these last so don’t plan on having to buy another

I had a extremely stuck oil filter. I got the standard socket tried with a ratchet did nothing, then used a impact which just rounded the flutes off, used a filter wrench, the filter channel locks, and even tried using the ratchet strap+wrench trick and nothing worked. I was going to do the screwdriver method but I calmed down and realized I'd probably shred the filter before busting it loose and make a bigger headache for myself. Ordered this tool, and with some elbow grease it busted it loose. The filter was clogged and crushed afterwards but it probably saved me a couple hundred bucks at a shop had I shredded the thing with a screwdriver. Definitely a lifesaver and I'd recommend it to anyone

I was working on a van that sat for 10yrs and the oil filter was practically welded on. In the picture you can see what the first two filter wrenches did to it and never budged it. I ordered this wrench and used a 1/2" drive breaker bar with a 24" pipe over that and still had to really pull on it. But this thing held firm and badda bing badda boom it broke it free and I got the filter off. Without a doubt the BEST oil filter wrench made! It will work!!!

I bought a 30 year old SUV to begin restoring - Car runs and drives already so first order of business was to change the fluids. I purchased the car from the second owner who only had it for two months and put about 800 miles on it without changing the oil - he said the first owner said it was due for a change. I checked the service records and saw the vehicle only has had 2,000 miles put it on it in the past 10 years so I'm guessing that's how long the current filter has been on it. I started out with my spider wrench - it just scraped up the side of the filter. Moved on to my filter pliers and ended up crushing the filter in slightly - I resorted to the screw driver method and it just started tearing a line through the side of the filter so I immediately stopped - I knew I would need to try a strap and then move on to removing the entire filter mount - I hopped on amazon and bought this strap, it arrived the next day and I noticed the strap was nice and wide and seemed to be good quality - It is slotted into the socket in a way that seems nice and sturdy with pretty much no chance of it coming out and the socket itself is incredibly thick. The filter on this truck is surrounded by oil cooler and brake lines on on side, the engine block on another and the radiator on the third - there is only one spot I could even wrench on it and even there I've only got about 5" of play - I went ahead and got this strap wrapped around and slid my socket with an angle adapter onto it. After about two minutes of prying on the socket wrench the filter came loose! I'm quite happy with this little tool and it will be ready at hand for all of my future oil changes. Would recommend in a heart beat. It saved me a ton of trouble as I would have had to remove the oil cooling lines, brake lines, heat shields around the engine block and then pull the whole filter mounting assembly out but luckily this thing got it moving.
