Quality is ok , but it is this seller make thing impossible to return , you have to pay for the return shipping, price is extremely high , and on top of that a lots requirements to give you a full refund. Quality, is nothing out of this world and just for beginners. Look for free return shipping , in case you are not happy and wants return the item.Thank you.

I tried returning the instrument because I wanted a marimba. A marimba has tubing underneath each key that helps amplify the sound. The Xylophone I tried returning the instrument is limited because the sound can’t resonate, like having tubes to help produce a fuller sound. I had no success in trying to return the instrument.

It's a $300 instrument, so you get what you pay for. It produces a very muted sound and one key in particular does not resonate at all.

For the people who complained about the sound, remember this is NOT a professional level xylophone, it's intended for beginners, to learn the keys, learn mallet discipline, things like that. It would also work well for a church band, or if you need to add aux percussion to a group. It's light, easy to transport if needed. My only complaint would be the way it mounts to the stand (or should I say rests) on the stand, but again, for what this is intended for it works great, and I would buy again if needed.

We are very happy with this Xylophone. It does not have resonators, but it is still very nice to play. The bars are narrower (1.5") than a full-size xylophone - Like one found in your band room at high school.
