Reviews are the main driver for decision making for me. I will focus on the negative ones and for this product the 3 concerns were: terrible instructions, missing parts, and quality.Instructions: type and diagrams were on the small side but readable. Pretty easy to follow but I've assembled a lot of stuff in my time. All of the hardware were in bags and labeled but the major pieces were not. That was not an issue because they were easy to identify by the instructions.Missing parts: none. All there. What surprised me was no tools were included. Usually a cheap wrench appropriate to the nuts and bolts is included but that didn't bother me as I used my own tools to assemble. What was nice was the fact there were only 2 bolts sizes and 1 nut size.Quality: for the price, it's great. It is cheap and I wouldn't go crazy with the weights, more more than 120 lbs if you want it to last but for me at my age it is perfect. Would recommend if your goal is general fitness. If you want to look like Tony Atlas, join a gym.

I needed a Machine to work out my Upper and Lower Back and also seconds as a Tricep Machine with the handles I purchased separatelySo it has a range that works for me but but if you have long spider arms it may bottom out on the upperback pull assembly...I do not use the Chains provided for the Upper Pull Down and use a 125lb "S" Hookto attach and also when I want to change out the Handles to do a Tricep Exercise its easy to just remove from the "S" Hook instead of the Clip and So on...they make stronger "S" hooks but this is fine for me and my weightsLower Pulley Works Great No Bottoming out...Easy to Assemble and also to put weights on and off as I do not use the supplied Clips they are annoying and an extra step for a Quick addition of weightsAll in all the Quality of the machine is Nice and VERY Sturdy I have NO complaints at allIts just a Nice added Exercise to add to my workout routine for a Cheap price of 160.00!I purchased Rubber Grip Handles for the machine that are so much more Comfortable to use dailyI would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive back workout machineI am 5'10" and 175 so this is perfect for my height and reach...Good Luck to all who purchase its worth it!

Poor packaging around bendable parts likely resulted in some damage. Two Sydee units I bought are REALLY well packaged to avoid damage in storage and transit. That said, a pair of vice grips allowed me to bend back into place. One bolt stripped and came away from housing. Fortunately it is fairly tight but likely can’t be removed. Won’t affect use, but would affect disassembly. The directions had some minor errors in written instructions but by triangulation on other information and diagrams, you should be able to figure it out.About 2 hours to assemble.Be sure not to over tighten the pulleys. I think think is (in part) why some complain about the cables getting damaged. However, it’s a rather thin cable coating compared to others I’ve see so you may want to assume you will be replacing the two cables with better ones later. That said, I’ve not sourced replacements, yet. Photo shows thin laminate on cables. I suspect it could oxidize and crack over next few years easily; but a guess.Works well on first day of use. Good for lat pull-down, of course, but also seated row using lower cable.Re. bolt that stripped. Could have been a disaster, so I took off 1 star as if it had occurred elsewhere or at different point in process it might have prevented assembly…and, it was I think due to poor QC of parts. For price, seems like very good value so far.

Amazing Lat pull down for the price. I find it hard to believe what you get for the price of this honestly.1st I’ll start with assembling the machine easy straight forward instructions I completed 99 percent of it by myself, I did have my son who is 13 help hold the base while I attached it. If you have it a ratchet with the correct size socket makes assembly a breeze along with adjustable crescent.2nd the machine is very sturdy and light I actually put it together not in it’s final placement but moving it there was no problem. I will say this the base is narrow so the footprint is great if you are limited on space as I am, another note on the weight of the machine being lighter is doing facepulls I did have the machine slide towards me so I place two 65lbs dumbbells on each side over the back stand and the problem was solved even with two bumper plates loaded on each side I had plenty of clearance with the dumbbells used to anchor it so just keep that in mind you might need to anchor it down.3rd and this is not a negative but just a heads up for taller people. I’m 6’3 265 and I fell rock solid on it but I’d have to approach my lat pulls with a slighter lean to get a full stretch at the top for full range doing pull downs I knew this going in so that’s why I say it’s not a negative but if you are I would say 6 feet and up depending on your reach this could be a deal breaker for you. Finally all in all I highly recommend this lat machine it checked all the boxes for me. Price, overall footprint and height, weight capacity. Its been an excellent addition to my home gym and now a staple in my workout routines.
