Belt, pump and tensioner worked well. No complaints. I like it comes in a kit, but would like to see the other belts ie. alternator, a/c, and power steering as part of kit since it all comes off to reach timing belt on civics. Overall good quality parts.

The original belt was from Gates which I actually was surprised to see. The original water pump was Honda but this replacement is just as good quality wise. The tensioner pulley looks to be better than OEM and was much in need of a replacement after 140k miles. Quality kit, everything you need. Great price, easy to install.

I’m always a little skeptical about non-OE parts, however it has always been important to me to save money. I saw this kit for a good price, I couldn’t resist. Other than a funny whine sound for the first few miles which I believe was the belt seating in properly, everything seems good. The parts seem well built, the belt looks very sturdy, and the pump fits perfectly. I don’t like using RTV sealant on any of any repair job because it’s a mess trying to clean that all up when replacing parts, plus I often think it does more harm than good in terms of avoiding leaks. In this case I ended up only using the supplied gasket to install the pump, although the old pump did have RTV plus the gasket .

This fit my 1999 Civic Dx Hatchback as stated in Amazon's fitment guide. Engine was non-vtec. Gates appears to make high quality parts, I've yet to be disappointed. Even the bearing in the tensioner was made in Japan. Good stuff. However, not so sure on the origin for the water pump, we'll see as far as longevity goes for that one.Instructions were included and made it nearly impossible to screw up the tension on the belt, which saves a lot of time and headache having to readjust once you reassemble everything.

Clearly a quality product. You get all the items shown in the picture.The Gates timing belt is top of the line stuff. The number of teeth on the belt is 104 x 24mm. It is designed for D16 engines (can't recall the actual engine listings). But funny enough, ALL the parts works perfectly on a 2000 civic EK3 D15B 1.5L engine.My only concern is that the packaging does not have any separating compartment for protecting the individual components. During shipping the items get a battering since 2 of the three are heavy metallic parts.The tensioner was "koyo" brand (same as the honda original). Otherwise great buy, good price.
