I purchased this item thinking it was a better quality belt. Under the description of the item it says made in the USA, however when I received the item the belt is clearly marked made in China. I could have got a Chinese made belt much cheaper.

The perfect belt for a buddy 125 scooter at half the price locally!Belt fits well, just make sure you know the tricks to replace a CVT transmission belt yourself, or own an impact driver.

I took the cheap route the last time and bought a Chinese import belt for around 10 bucks and did I ever get my moneys worth. Two weeks later I ordered the Gates belt because the old one was in a million pieces. The gates belt was only a little more than double at about 25 bucks so It was an expensive lesson in quality verses quantity. Was easy to change so I consider it a cheap education. Make sure if you are ordering one for your import that you need the long shaft version as there is also a shorter one available.
